So I've found the best thing is start on a lowpop world, check out if their are any bots there.
If not, go to entrance of the stairs, literally where you one click and go up them.
That is you world hopping safe spot, use it like the bots do, when you goto a new world and its filled with players just switch asap till you find some bots.
The bots that switch prayers they're a bit harder to kill, they have a slightly different set of stair fu, if they switch prayer, try and trap them at the door. Thats your best bet for killing them.
The ones that dont switch prayer, they have a predictable stair-fu pattern, learn it and you'll win against them all the time.
Also fighting on the stairs is safer for you just incase some group logs in at the bottom.

Also keep note of the bot names you kill. You'll come across the same ones that are easy to kill, a 20k key is indicative of a bot thats been killed previously.
Also this might be paranoia and I'm not entirely sure. But because the farms are so big and interconnected, I think there is a possibility of a "sacrificial" bot, as in when they see you approach theres one bot who whilst you're distracted with the others either runs away or gets itself killed by mobs.

I've had this happen a few times, I spent some time killing a bot for 80k key, went down the stairs and saw a bot killing itself by the mobs, so I ran over and blasted it. It dropped a 280k key.

100k keys are common enough to make you go out there, 80-70k keys are okay enough, but the 200k+ keys are what makes it exciting.

Usually I stay out there till I get at least two 200k keys and then it's boosted by the 40-80k other keys i have. This honestly takes about 30minutes, destroy 20k keys and under absolute waste. 30k keys can get the rope too.

Lastly, I think and I'm not sure but I think a bot owner sent out a dude with a voidwalker, but I think that theory is less likely as I continue the bot killing journey but it was sus af that he was going up the stairs when I was going down and there was nothing there to make him check those stairs.

Yeah thats honestly likely but it was just such weird timing its just he wasnt there when i started and it was literally just as I spent the last 10minutes killing a bot on the 2nd to 3rd level of the stairs, finally killed it and I went to the bottom and right at that point a dude with a voidwalker was next too me. The best feeling is hopping worlds and finding about 5 bots and watching them run like rats. If you want some good ones, on the 1500 total level world I often find the ones that switch prayer and they're too much hassle for me too kill with my mystics. If you got the dps give it a go, I have killed a few of the prayer switching ones before they didn't give a lot, but its variable.

On note of the prayer switching ones, often the initial pattern seems to be they go up from the start of the stairs then they go down then up. After that its a bit of a shit show and I haven't definitively nailed a pattern down for those but they do try to escape eventually via the front and go down the side of the obelisk.
