i'm playing through dkc while i wait for bananza and holy shit this game is hard, how did i ever beat this as a kid? I don't remember this evil second level where you have to swing on ropes and dodge the spikey wasps. I can't reach the N letter that's between two ropes, whenever I try and jump inbetween them donkey kong just fucking falls and dies, and if I try to jump back from the second rope to get it he can't reach the rope behind him.

they are really good. DKC I think is not as good as Mario World but it's much harder it's a good challenge game. There are a lot of secret rooms that are fun so it doesn't really matter that the only reward for it is extra lives. We also don't have alternative skins for karts, I think that would be a cool update, kart customization that lets you change the colour of your kart.
