You have to use two grands, one AoE and one ST. So whichever one you have, you get to and need to use your grand. That is great.
But it's absolutely fucked by making the HP so high you have to have a gameplayfag grand in both roles. Before you could keep your favorite as grand and borrow a gameplayfag grand to do the farming.
Not to mention non-damaging NPs.

Vritra has OC lore where she's a function of the world as the personification of humanity's conflict with nature and how she isn't affected by the passage of time or the changing of eras, and Indra's said to be a part of the conflict as a counter to her.
So if Indra is following similar principles where he's a function of the world itself and isn't bothered by the end of the Age of Gods, then it's plausible for him to us that relationship to summon himself as a Grand.
But the event is such a sloppy mess that none of it is addressed.

My experience so far has been that all you really need is some whale friend with a Grand Melusine with the usual MLB Black Grail, then something like Liz + Lancer Gogh for team buffs and you can finish in 3 turns even without chains from the two Grands in the fight. Although I guess mileage can vary a little, my Grand is ST and clears house just fine.
