It's explained in the first mission. Noah, Ami, Dalcarlo, and Aiona go to the island because they heard rumors of someone who looks like Goldland being there.

Then Aiona immediately gets blackout drunk in a drinking contest, gets into a bikini, and makes everyone go play in the ocean instead of pursuing the goal until she sobers up and gets embarrassed. Also, second mission basically confirms that Ami's behavior in c6-10 was trolling, not actual autism. Fun dumb summer event thus far.

She goes "Shall we take our relationship to the next level, then?" Noah says yeah, then she says instead of going back to the castle he should spend the night with her in the forest. You have one final opportunity to be homosexual and pick a "N-no I'd rather sleep in the castle" option, but otherwise they spend the night together.

It's not explicit, it's never gonna be in one of these games, but it's when you read "Let's take our relationship to the next level" "Let's not worry about fate, chase what we desire and indulge in it" and "Let's spend the night together in a tent" back to back, the implication is pretty clear.

T.Ami with Dalcarlo and Lorelei's passive sleep shut down a lot of the annoying stages. She's been cleaning up Chapter 10 and the Abyss Tower. You can't really apply it reliably either. Keeping Lorelei in woman form to apply sleep means she's not doing dmg while jumping something with the squid means she's not applying sleep. She can shut down ONE target and burst them down but only basic bitch targets, no bosses either. She's purely a pvp unit. Try her on any daily boss and she sucks ass.
I also doubt Pavana works with her, they're both half moon, the rotation to reach blood moon would be horrendously slow while also trying to juggle sleep timers on high deficit stages.

Your sleep is guaranteed to trigger and slow them down.

I took Lorelei for a spin on my main account stuck on 14-1 and she put all the first wave fuckers to sleep and I was able to chop them down until the second wave rekt me. I am just still at a 10k deficit to do anything but the fact I was no longer getting any unit instakilled the moment the mages finished channel or the knights crack my Bella was a welcomed surprise.

Her CC is reliable though, she will consistently sleep the same group of enemies every retry. More importantly it's cheap, I can do my rotations on the other half of the map without worries while she keeps a large clump on lockdown. Her dps comes in handy later on when aoe isn't as good

Regarding transfusion, should I just level 5 SR units to 160 and put the 5 SSRs I want to actually use as the transfusion targets until I get enough dupes for them? Or does it not matter?

Honestly I made it to level 115 and chapter 12 with zero grind, just doing all the various daily tasks and not being 100% retarded with resource use. Got ~2/3-3/4 of the SSRs in the game as well, no money spent. I'm now at a point where I've hit a bit of a wall, but it's not so much a matter of grinding as just waiting. I'll admit I don't love this, having come from a game where story content isn't nearly as aggressively levelgated — with levelgating left for high end farming and event nodes. I don't have enough autism to reroll, so I started with a single SSR, Piera. To this day, Limine is the only ancestral I have. The game gives you so much early free summon currency that I still managed to clear through 10 pretty trivially. I'd just do story missions until I lost, then upgrade 5 vassals as much as possible with the resources I gained in doing that, rinse, repeat. It was only around the end of 10 or early in 11 that I had to wait substantially.

As of chapter 10? Some of it is a bit weird and incoherent because it feels like there's a missed chapter, but here's what I've got:
Your group go to the island because of a rumor that someone who looks like Goldland was there. Get drunk, have a fun time. Take in Selena as a favor to Van Helsing. You meet Lorelei who is one of the Seven Sages who rebuilt the island after it got tsunamid and now runs the place. She acts weirdly friendly, especially to Ami, right off the bat. Get in some conflict with a rich kid. Hear rumours that there are man eating sirens running around at night. Spend the night at an inn, where Lorelei secretly starts a rumor that Ami is a Roland, for some reason (after earlier implying Ami is mega rich).

During the night, everyone has weird dreams. The next day, Noah & co. are "invited to meet" with Savich the elder, and for some reason go along with it even though surely they're strong enough to say "fuck off" (idk why). Selena goes to "rescue" them, not entirely sure what the whole deal with that was. Noah decides to investigate the whole sirens and disappearances thing, snoops around and finds crime scene illustrations and evidence which suggest a member of the Seven Sages is responsible — including a blackmail letter talking about some 'special slaves' and threatening to tell the Church. Ami is approached by a Goldland lookalike who is one of the Seven Sages and a sketchy guy who is implied to have helped purge the island of remnants from the pre tsunami days, to build the new utopia. He says he wants Ami to join as an 8th Sage helping rule the island, and says she'll get amazing perks like special Black Blood slaves. Also says they're gonna extend their way of doing things to the mainland eventually, thanks to the amazing power of the sirens tear, which allows them to mindfuck people's dreams (and maybe more?). Noah and Ami go "wow very cool we will think about it aha".

Meanwhile Seven Sages have various meetings and think one of their number is a traitor who leaked info (I think to the Church?). Church has also sent an official mission to investigate. Van Helsing has also gone solo to investigate, because it used to be his hereditary fief pre-tsunami, but anyone who knew him there would now be dead. He got captured though and has been rotting in prison, until he learned to speak mermaid and started a prison break of some kind. We see what are some childhood flashbacks or bad dreams of him and some other kids talking about sirens and dying in the deep.

As of chapter 10, there's an auction to be the 8th Sage, and between chapters Noah has allegedly figured out who the person behind the disappearances is, and is laying a trap. He has also figured out the slaves are probably nearby and has sent Aiona to explore the most likely location (a sewer... while she's in bikini and barefoot... my wife is born to suffer) to free them, because I think he believes they're some kind of Landis semi-bloodborn things, sapient rather than blood beasts. He got Selena to have the Church guys make a scene as a distraction at the auction. Seven Sages think they now know who the traitor is. Old Savich is meeting with an actual Roland, it seems. Also Selene is a former assassin, and the based assassin's guild rep posing as a wine merchant made her wear a bikini because he's a true hero. Also drunk Aiona is cute, and Ami is a troll.

That's where we are unless we pay for sunblock, which I'm not doing until it's time to farm nightmare quick clears.

Partially for dumb psychological reasons, but also because it would mean I could likely clear an entire story chapter when it comes out, rather than dripfeeding the chapter at a rate of an individual scene every couple days. 13-6 specifically is a DPS/CC check.
I beat it at around 46k+ with Lamia and Dalcarlo doing the heavy lifting. CC the worms that channel the bloodsoul debuff and then Lamia will slowly chip away at Death and the other mobs until only death is left and DPS race him.
I used Bella as my tank but T.Ami makes everything easier as you can just use her ult to group everyone together to easily Dalcarlo stun to death.
Rest of chapter 13 is easy, then you get stuck on 14-1 at 10k deficit and just wanna die.

11-7 was the first place I was stuck for a bit. 11-7, the rematch against the death avatar, is fucking me up. Normally ~4000-5000 deficit was extremely doable in c11, but not so much there. I noticed that almost half the people in my top 10 clan don't bother making teams specifically for the hunts and just throw their premade 3x at random shit and do shit damage.
Also it could be they're spending their hits on hunt 4 or 5 which are more stringent on builds and will usually result in less damage compared to 1-3. Just running THati with Agares/Darcias can easily get you over 10m on hunt 1 and for 2-3 you can throw aoe status inflict with just Theophane/T.Ami + Dalcarlo/Van for at least 7m.

You could always just skip it. Only loses you a third of a day of progress. If you'd skipped all 4, you'd be just a day or two behind in getting the Vassal. Possibly zero, if your clan aren't shitters and get good clan hunt rewards.

It's more a question of practice then lvlups. Of course on some stages she doesn't hit much, but on others she can sleep 10 dudes before ulting and keeping them cc for 15 seconds
