If you want to rank up Red Veil but are still capped at Steel Meridian you're still only going to get 50% of your total Daily Standing. It's best to just buy stuff from Steel Meridian so you're not capped so you don't waste it.

depends on your goals. you can trade all the augment mods and archweapon parts you get for the other factions ones, and then once you have all that you can just keep dumping reputation into relic packs or vosphor. only reason to swap late game is for the sigils and emotes really.
(although you should have leveled arbiters first, so you could have arbiters, suda, steel meridian and red veil leveled at the same time)

Yes.
When you're at cap you just get nothing and Red Veil gets its usual cut.
Just buy some augment mods to sell or use or buy relic packs or vosfor. Probably relic packs if you're just capping for the first time. Or buy their cosmetics/weapons for MR. Just don't leave them at max, its a waste.

That doesn't matter. They can choose Steel Meridian first while also ranking Red Veil, then once those are maxed they can switch to Cephalon Suda while getting Arbiter of Hexis. They lose 50% of Red Veil but then they can just switch back to Steel Meridian to rank it back up.

i'm not sure if this is good advice, but you will end up with more focus lenses than you know what to do with and they're useless once you have everything unlocked. sp upgrade them if you have blueprints for better lenses in your foundry, but otherwise just slap them onto anything you use that's elligible

Intensify is the best umbral mod, to the point people will run it on non umbral frames if they have the room. The other two are used exclusively for health tanks (memes), so I wouldn't push either past r5 unless you want to bling out your inaros or something.
Excal umbra is pretty strong, but this augment is mandatory. Otherwise umbra runs around on his own and all kinds of retarded shit that will screw you over happens.

You use it against eximus, in theory. Build combo by pretending you're playing a musou game then heavy to one-shot the eximus.

Unless you're using tonkatt, which gets bonus heat damage every time the combo multiplier goes up, so you have to heavy attack to reset the multiplier, or xoris/wolf sledge/tak and lug where you use nothing BUT heavy attack to just explode everything.

I came back after nearly a decade long break too. I beat the Jordas golem in basic rank 28 odonata with no imperator/gun mods. It took 20 minutes but he is braindead easy and nothing will hit you if you stay behind him and just... back up when he bubbles. yeah, do the arboretum one, you can clip through the gate into it without needing to do the thrax bust puzzle above by pushing one of the disc containers (furthest right one from the outside) while facing away from the gate.
