Comparing S2's Philip clashes better in his ego state, reaches it faster (turn 2 with ego + s3) and hits more targets with it. Burn is easier to maintain than bleed too.

Ryoshu's damage conditionals max at 20 for her being faster or having more sanity but not at the same time making her damage less consistent.

Her S3 has big damage for the enhanced version but forced her to reset and gives a dead turn, effectively worse than philip for the rest of the fight.

Philip's S3 can do similar damage in a burn team focused around wrath skills, which all burn teams are thanks to Firefist Gregor, Firefist Gregor, and ID that's also significantly better than Ryoshu with no down time.
