First for cute and canon.
>new seats due to popular demand
Time to travel to Czechia, /kcdg/.
I saw what you did in that deleted save
>>53172425Fuck
I was already thinking about it but I don't wanna be poor
>>531724256being an amerimutt poorfag sucks
>>531725259I didn't want her to get pregnant
>>531730993What did you post
>>531730993me when I romanced Lady Steph for the achievement and then immediately reloaded to noblezone her so my Henry didn't get her pregnant
>>531731045When I have sex with women in the game I reload so they don't get pregnant
>>531708081>>531709182Itโs funny how Hans does the same thing before the Prey quest, when he says it will be like the old times in Rattay. Henry points out they had only gone hunting once, but Hans insists that it feels like they had done it many times.
Their first day together just left an extremely strong impression on them.
>>531731862I feel like the game simply just does not take itself seriously for light dialogues like that its kinda self aware in a way
Theres a dialogue how bergow managed to escape and it feels like that emperors new groove trying to explain how yzma and kronk got to the castle first
>>531731443Just say you want to impregnate hans
>>531731331>>531731443>reload after having sex with women so they don't get pregnant>have unprotected loving sex with Hans repeatedly and never reload to ensure his pregnancy
>>531732435>>531732590I didn't reload after Hans because he can't get pregnant
>>531730183Why is Hans grumpy?
>>531733392>Hans can't get pregnantMa says otherwise
>>531732189Actually, the opposite is true. Multiple WH devs have said that making KCD quests can be tough because everything the characters do and say must be underpinned by their respective character, motivation etc. Nothing is done just because. The Bergow escape convo is funny because itโs an inherently absurd, unexpected fail and the characters cope hard to explain it.
>>531737670The Bergow escape could have been easily explained as Brabant or Erik helping him sneak out. That's a million times more simple and believable than the elderly bald fat noble actually being a super stealth god tier spy.
>>531742879It may be a hanging plot point for the future, to be fair. Henry is extremely sceptical of the explanation for a reason.
Which one of you Czechs fed Luke crack today

Warhorse you cowards, bring back the manwhore Henry.
>>531751604Not interested unless Henry accidentally calls them Hans during sex
>>531751604Reddit found some files indicating there was a male bathhouse prostitute in Trosky, complete with a unique skip time titled "sexWithMan". It was probably cut a long time ago since thereโs no dialogue for it, but apparently the plans were there.
>>531753547>after the pillory Hans works as a male bathhouse whore to earn money>Henry can find him and have hatesex with him

>>531734860Han's got Henry's hammer in his bum. He's trying to adjust.
>>531770223HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG
>>531742879>>531743305Peter is the most likely culprit. He was always a reluctant, cautious ally. He never wanted the silver in his castle. His comments on the wall before Von Bergow revealed himself were to save face. He was going to advocate for negotiation until Hynek made it impossible.
The explanation for the escape was clearly bullshit. Zizka knows, and Henry is rightfully extremely skeptical. Zizka can't outright accuse Peter because that would risk Peter pulling his support for the defense, reputation be damned, and trying to barter a separate peace that may or may not include Zizka, Devil, and Henry. Zizka needs Peter's men, and everyone needs to believe Peter is acting of his own free will.
That's why that scene where Zizka preps Henry before their talk with Peter feels so weird. He has to stress the need for Henry's absolute show of support without making it too obvious why. As for why he didn't just explain all of that to Henry, who knows. This is just my theory but after several times playing through this section I feel very strongly about it. It just makes the most sense and explains why Peter and Zizka are acting so odd in the wake of Hynek shooting Von Aulitz.
So I finally played E33 because of everyone claiming that it's going to win goty over KCD2. And I have to admit that it is a really good game compared to the unfinished overpriced slop that the industry usually puts out, but the "it was all just a hecking dream!!!!" plot twist completely ruined it for me. I'm baffled that I haven't seen any criticism about that because what the actual fuck was that shit? Did the people praising this game to high heaven even finish it? KCD2 writing has flaws for sure but nothing on that level of abysmal dogshit.
>>531781462Yeah I stopped playing at that point. Really cheapened the earlier acts for me, killing the pc is based until you bring him back. I need to finish it though, I don't think it's fair to judge it until I do

Ngl why do people make henry extremely passive its not what i get from the game at all.. thought?
>>531798995Passive in what way?
>>531798995common mischaracterization from fujos who haven't played the kcd1 or 2 so they don't know that regardless of player choice there's still numerous occasions where Henry is shown to be aggressive and bloodthirsty to a degree
>>531798995Most fujos don't actually play the game.
>>531776059I could believe it, Peter was against Zizka bringing the silver there in the first place. The common argument I see against this theory is that Peter is risking his village and fortress being destroyed, but it's not as though he knew Dry Devil was going to completely fuck over any hope of negotiations. I don't know, any explanation makes more sense than the overly complex given one from Zizka.
>>531804776Rosas romance scene is so fucking in character for them i love it so much
>>531806819Even before the silver is a factor, Peter is sucking up to Von Bergow after his capture, to the extent multiple people call him out for it. He didn't trust Jobst to come through and was hedging his bets from the start.
>>531813434So tender and cute.
>>531816802In all fairness, few people trusted Jobst to come through for them. Heโs known for his chronic backstabbing disorder.
>>531798995Youโll have to explain what you mean there.
>>531826132Yeah I don't mean to overly vilify Peter here. Part of it was selfish but he was justified in not believing in Jobst and he has subjects to look out for.
Oh cool I just found the dinosaurs in the mine in Kuttenburg.
>>531833307Historical accuracy, bro.
>>531838679Didn't bother me. I've played through the game three times, found the mermaid, the goblin quest, and this is the first time I've seen this. It's insanely well hidden.
>>531831862>>531799193Eg. being the one who yearn, hes like totally oblivious in the game
And, dunno passive in a yes man way? Waiting for hans' approval etc
>>531799587I didnf mean he needs to be aggressive either just dunno i never vibe with any of the fan content
>>531840206To add i guess henry depends on peoples playthrough but i have hard time believing peoples first instinct when playing blind is picking every answer that pleases hans like hes quite insufferable in the first half
>>531840487The people who only played the game because they heard about the gay romance would
>>531798995In KCD1 Henry got constantly raped by women, so yes, he does have some issues with saying no.
>>531840487Eh, in most convos Hans is pleased by virtually everything Henry says, not to mention that heโs Henryโs lord and master, not just his pal. If you take your role playing seriously, you should be deferential to him.
>>531842614>Henry got constantly raped by womenIt should've been me
>>531842972>If you take your role playing seriously, you should be deferential to him.I take my rp seriously. I also play straight Henry, not sure if that makes a difference, but I only adhere to this in public. If I'm interacting with Hans in private I have no problem busting his balls or disagreeing with him (within reason). As you said he's generally receptive to most of what you say regardless. I'm nta though, and I wouldn't characterize Hans as insufferable in the first half in any case. It's especially evident if you played the first game that Hans is literally having a profound existential crisis. His behavior is understandable. I don't like to be too hard on him, given he's your best friend, for that reason. Any soft balling or coddling has a lot more to do with that than any perceived power dynamic on Henry's part. I like to think Henry perceives that power dynamic as being more about responsibility than subservience. But hey, that's the beauty of a game as immersive and deep as this. There are no wrong ways to play or interpret it. Well, except evil Henry or shipping Bartosch Henry (it's the same thing btw).
Playing Brushes for the second time. I'm realizing it's ultimately about humoring old people. I don't mean that in a reductive or negative way. It's a quest about patience and empathy. Voyta is like that elderly relative that you really love but who is very difficult to deal with at times because of general age/dementia/mental illness. He's a beautiful, tortured soul and he truly means well.
Yeah his vagueness and fetch quests can be really annoying. I think that's kind of the point. I started to realize this when the third stage of the quest is jumping through hoops to let that old widow relive her youth she spent with her late husband. You trek through the mud to pick her flowers, fix her favorite dress, and tell her bullshit poetry. It's all so tedious and even in game Henry gets more and more annoyed, but it's the happiest she's been in many years. Granted I like the backstory that unfolds too, and Voyta's performance is great, but I think there's a touching message here that I didn't quite grasp the extent of the first time. If any of us are ever lucky to grow that old, albeit with the challenges that often brings, we'd be really blessed to have a friend like Henry.
>>531840487I think Henry has no problem calling Hans out on his bullshit when he's being an asshat, but the second he hears someone else insulting his lord he flips out like "hey, only *I* can trash talk lord Capon!"
>>531840487I picked every answer that pleased Hans because I thought he was cute and fuckable in the first game. By the end of 1 he's such a bro and he was always praising my Henry for tournament wins and shit. That being said, I always still pick the (swear) option in the pillory because it's the most kino, but other than that my Henry is glazing Hans and praising him 24/7.
>>531839410The mermaid is obviously fake, if you look closely the tail is just a bunch of human femurs lined up. There is no explanation for the dinosaurs other than devs putting them there for shits and giggles. It's like something you'd see in a Wild Wasteland playthrough of New Vegas.
>>531860141>Henry has no problem calling Hans out on his bullshit when he's being an asshat, but the second he hears someone else insulting his lordI like this dynamic, and I agree with you, because I think it works just as well Hansry or straight. It's even reinforced twice in a row when Henry, without question, backs up Hans in the initial brawl. Then Hans, without question, backs up Henry at the Semine brawl. I also love the fact that Hans canonically packs a mean punch. (Even if it's a sucker punch)
>>531862679The difference being Wild Wasteland triggers were generally pretty easy to encounter, or they altered preexisting encounters. I slow played the game three times before finally seeing the dinos in my fourth. Assuming it wasn't spoiled for them on the internet, 99%+ players will never see this organically.
>>531860282Swear option is the canon option at the pillory as far as Iโm concerned. But yeah, we know that beneath the mask Hans is a sad guy nobody ever loved and who has no sense of self-worth despite being objectively accomplished and a good person overall. He also canonically has a praise kink and even the writers thought Henry should be glazing him and lifting his self-esteem at every opportunity.
>>531862679Henry being unable to spell his own name is infinitely more immersion breaking than any dinosaur easter egg.
>>531868046Why? He's only been writing for a month
>>531868130I admit I was also being very disingenuous, but there are so many scholarship checks that imply Henry is at least passably literate in multiple languages.
>>531813434tsundere Hans...
>>531846920I actually really enjoyed the part of the dlc where you help the old widow remember her husband. Fixing her dress and picking flowers for her was really wholesome. I lost my dad somewhat recently so practically any quest dealing with the elderly hits me hard.
>>531869080My sincere condolences anon. I lost my mother as a teenager. I enjoyed the DLC the first time around too, but I think I'm understanding what they were actually going for the second time around even more. The entire quest line is really wholesome viewed through the context of a mentally ill, elderly man who is desperate to make amends and Henry's best efforts at helping him.
>>531868905Is he? Because letโs take a look at his language skills.
>GermanKnows about as much German as an average medieval Czech peasant would, as his constant struggles when talking to Germans indicate
>Polish:Only understands the very basics of Polish, probably less than a Czech should.
>HungarianDoesnโt understand it at all, except for the situations when everyone is so smashed that languages no longer matter.
>RomaniNo knowledge at all except for what the nomads teach him; only interested in knowing how to say heโs Hans Caponโs brave knight kek.
>Italian Basically nothing except where Czech and Italian have shared Latin words.
>FrenchSame as Italian, canโt even pronounce French names to boot.
>LatinA bit inconsistent and highly dependent on his scholarship level, but the mandatory scenes show him as mostly Latin-illiterate, so Iโd go with that.
All in all, his language skills are good for a peasant but well below the average for a member of nobility, for example.
>>531872982>>531868905Speaking of languages, gotta love how Hansโs DLC forces Henry to become literate. Being able to read is a real deal breaker for Hans.
>>531868130Itโs more than one month. The artbook says KCD1 begins in spring and KCD2 takes place mid summer. The real Skalitz raid happened on March 22, IIRC.
>>531872982>All in all, his language skills are good for a peasant but well below the average for a member of nobility, for example.Almost like he IS a peasant or something. I'm not even going to argue about the dino easter egg at this point. If you hate it, fine by me, I'm genuinely sorry it bothers you. I can understand why it would.
>>531874047Regardless of that, assuming Henry didn't completely cheese the monastery quest in KCD1, he couldn't possibly be incapable of spelling his own name, in his own language in KCD2, right?
>>531874047>>531876224Hey sorry, I realize the formatting of this makes it seem like I'm directly responding to you too "speaking of languages" bro. I'm not. Carry on. I just felt like it was tangentially related.
>>531875432Usually for an adult with zero education to begin with it takes longer than a few months to learn to read and write competently. I've read testimonies from people teaching literacy to adults and it's a slow and gruelling process even with a lot of resources and a non-stressful environment (the opposite of what Henry has to deal with). They all basically said that even when all students start from the same point, and I'm talking about 30-40 year olds who can't spell their own names, some take to it easily while others are so thick skulled they can't connect letters to sounds no matter how many times you try to explain. The thing about Henry is that he's a fast learner for someone in his context.
>>531870561Thank you anon, I'm sorry you lost your mother so young. Voyta's grief is really relatable even before you know the full story. Makes me sad seeing people say they think the dlc was boring but I know now that it's not easy to appreciate that type of writing until you go through something similar yourself.
>do the Post Scriptum quest
>Henry: That obviously shady kidnapper guy was smiling, so he couldnโt be planning anything bad!
Autistic Henry is the cutest Henry.
>>531881849>Autistic HenryWhile there's no future in it, and as poorly developed as it is, Henry and Rosa unironically make a cute autistic couple.
>>531876224Knowing how to spell his own name probably wasn't the most important thing to him, I could believe it's not committed to memory
>>531876224>Regardless of that, assuming Henry didn't completely cheese the monastery quest in KCD1You wouldn't even need to be literate for that work, they're copying not writing
>>531883252>>531883776Ok fine I kneel, Henry can't spell his name in KCD2. You've convinced me.
>>531883060Romancable characters rated most to least autistic
>RosaHer idea of a date is writing fanfiction together, makes Henry do ridiculous poses for her drawings, wants Henry to murder hobos but gets made if he murders villagers
>HansHis idea of a date is hunting together, keeps giving Henry bows as gifts, writes poetry, carves wooden dog toys, doesn't understand 70% of social cues, is uncomfortable in social events and crowds
>KlaraSpergs about herbs and knights, makes Henry solve a riddle in order to have sex, gets irrationally mad if Henry isn't a max level genius alchemist, doesn't believe Henry if he is a max level genius alchemist
>StephanieGoes to Henry in the middle of the night to rant about her marital issues less than 12 hours after Henry's parents were murdered in front of him and his village burned down, doesn't find Toth suspicious and lets him into Talmberg
>KatherineWants Henry to murder a mentally ill elderly woman but gets irrationally mad at Henry for every slightly questionable choice he makes before and after said murder, supposedly is obsessed with revenge but also gets mad if Henry wants revenge, possibly not autistic but just retarded
>TheresaVery normal and not autistic, enjoys going on normal dates and receiving normal gifts
>>531879450Thank you for the kind words. In some ways it's easier when you're young. Most of my friends have lost their parents as adults and that's a totally different pain I can't imagine. Thankfully my dad is still around.
>Makes me sad seeing people say they think the dlc was boringAbsolutely. You have this traumatized, clearly schizophrenic, elderly man, barely coping with his guilt and his mental illness. Henry shows up at what is likely the lowest point in his life since he escaped the trauma of his youth. Unless your Henry is a total POS (non canon) you should feel a massive, urgent obligation to help this man. I had so much fun transitioning from a reluctant errand boy for a weirdo artist, to a genuine friend who desperately wanted to give Voyta closure and fulfillment. Fuck the shield painting. If this was the least involved DLC I cannot wait for the next two.
>>531884427It's cute that he can't
>>531886585I have minor critiques of all of these assessments (because I'M probably autistic) but I'm going to keep them to myself because I find the premise of this post hilarious and because I agree with the vast majority of what you've said. (We're both clearly in agreement that Kuttenberg Kat is a dogshit, ruined character and that Rosa is by far the most autistic Henry pairing).
She has a crossbow security blanket and gets mad if you don't give her credit for being a good shot lmao.
All that to say Theresa is best girl and Henry's only chance to live a normal life as Pribyslavitz bailiff with her by his side.
>>531886585>>531888963Actually know what? My only "critiques" are Klara and Stephanie because they're just sluts. Fake autists at best.
We should be able to heal Ashbourne/Phantom Horse. Heโs gorgeous, but those wounds look gnarly.
>>531886585>>531888963it really is hilarious to me how loud katherinefags were when kcd2 first came out and now everybody agrees that she's easily the worst written kek
>>531886585>His idea of a date is hunting togetherHe also tells him chivalric romance stories, wants to take Henry to his private sex den and one day travel to a bunch of beautiful places like Rome and the Holy Land together. Heโs probably the biggest romantic of the lot to be honest, and not in an autistic way.
>>531892126It's criminal. Pre Kuttenburg Kat is legitimately a great character and she gets butchered (I guess because they decided she needed to fuck Henry at some point???) She goes from strong woman to hysterical stereotype LITERALLY overnight.
>>531888963Autist/normalfag relationships tend to fail due to the so-called double empathy problem, where both parties basically have different communication styles and experience the world differently, eventually leading to misunderstandings and mutual frustration. Statistically speaking, Henryโs ideal partner should be a little less autistic than him but still somewhere on the broader spectrum.
t. literal autist who knows other functional autists
>>531886585Johanka is more autistic than all of them combined but she's married to Jesus (in her mind)
>>531889732Stephanie has BPD
Klara is a narcissist
>>531893054when leaving Trosky and Godwin lectures Henry about revenge being le bed she even says something like "amen that's the truth." her entire backstory and the "romance" feels like a last minute edition imo. maybe it was because iirc rosa kiss and hans hand holding were shown in early trailers but the katherine romance scene was a different character entirely. maybe they just didn't want to spoil her romance but in that case why spoil rosa and hans? tldr kat is weird.
>>531892818>Henry I wouldn't want anyone else by my side>Henry we should go on a roadtrip across the country alone together>Henry I'll never forget this trip of ours>Henry I'm not going to let you put yourself in danger because of my fear of small spaces>Henry you're the most dearest friend anyone could ask for>Henry you have no idea how happy I am to see you >Henry I prayed to the Virgin Mary for your safety >Henry I stole this expensive bow for you as a reward for your knightly deeds>Henry we should go on a hunting trip alone together right now>Henry you're a lot more than my minion these days>Henry there are plenty of wenches in the world but once you have a true friend you have to hold on to him>Henry you spend too much time with your brother instead of me>Henry I'm glad you're here with me>Henry if anything happened to me it wouldn't be your fault>Henry I care about you even if I don't always show it>Henry I'm coming with you on that suicide mission>Henry I've been thinking a lot about the two of us>Henry if anything happens to you I will kill myself because I can't live without youIf anyone is autistic here it's Henry for being surprised when Hans finally kissed him.
>>531903476Everyone knows Henry is the most autistic it's not even worth discussing
fuck bow aiming holy shit

>>531908434Hit the archery range and take the marksman potion. Youโll grind your archery in an hour or two and win a nice sum in the process.

>>531908434Have some dignity
archery is very easy compared to the first game
>>531933016Henry is gonna make sure hans is pregnant 10 times

>>531908434Once you get the perk that can slow down time while aiming and also make a bunch of dollmaker potions you can pretty much solo mobs with ease. You would genuinely need to have Parkinson's disease to not be able to at that point.
If I drink just 1 wine or something everytime before I go to get will Henry get addicted? Or does he only get addicted if you guzzle multiple drinks everyday?
>>531952050everytime before I go to bed*

>>532013294goddamn fujos can't do anything right
I missed it in my playthrough, but Hans apparently joins the girl talk with Kat and Rosa in Ruthardโs palace. He even mothers Rosa a bit, with his tone being noted as โsoothingโ or โencouragingโ when she worries about her dad. He also hates the manly farting kek.
>Kat (tired)
>Rosa (amused): Will you get any sleep? With so many men, the snoring must be unbearable.
>Hans (disgusted): If it was only snoring I had to worry aboutโฆ
>Kat (curtly): Iโd rather listen to their snoring than sleep somewhere on my on.
>Rosa (surprised): Whyโs that?
>Kat (gloomily): When it goes quiet at night, you just know something terrible is going to happen.
>Hans (soothing): Come now. You donโt want Lady Rosa to be afraid in her own bed, do you?
>Rosa (amused): Who said Iโm afraid? I always have my crossbow at hand, even in bed.
>Hans (amused): I suppose weโd better remember to always knock first.
>>532018246From playboy to staying back and playing gay bestie to two beautiful women
>>532018246Yeah, he's very nice to Rosa and Kat during several conversations. He also talks to Rosa after saving her from Maleshov to ask if she was treated ok compared to how he was treated. This is why I can't stand the fanon obsession with calling him ~misogynistic~.

>>532002790Why ruin them like that?
Well it's finally time. Level 20 and 80 hours in I am now going to go to the wedding.
>>532052562In that outfit?
>>532018246Its funny bc hans drinks like crazy
Also does that mean hans does not eat meat or dairy?
I like the calm convo but youd know hans will be shipped wuth these girls to make henry jealous if hed ever friendlier
>>532019035Same i never noticed hes misogynistic at all where does it come from?
>>532063140He likes having sex with them
>>532063690He's been enlightened but he uses to
>>532052562either ditch the chaperon or the hood, otherwise decent wedding drip
>>532063140The only "misogynistic" things Hans has ever done was call Karolina a cow for not knowing how to read, says Katherine has a nice figure, and is flirty to women in general. For some reason a lot of fujos think him being flirty to women = he doesn't respect them = misogyny.
>>532077152Whos the red haired guy?
>>532082479I think it's supposed to be Michael.
>>532085720>theresa>mostly trauma bondingfujofag cope
>>532085720>>532087231Yeah in fairness the trauma bonding label could just as easily apply to Hans lol
>>532087679"apex predator" is pretty funny
>>532085720Someone should shop the Kuttenburg fountain in the background.
>>532085720>fun hookup >making every non-Hansry romance seem like shit besides B*rtoschWhoever made this image is a B*rtoschfag so opinion disregarded. I need them to shut the fuck up and stop making us Hansrychads look bad.
>>532087896Not really. KCD1 handles the start of Theresa romance extremely clumsily, with Henry literally just being told by the NPC that he should fuck Theresa because she helped him and theyโre both Skalitz survivors, which starts the quest. Itโs very videogamey and not in a good way. Theresa is still Henryโs only viable long-term relationship in the series aside from Hans, but I remember this โdevelopmentโ turning me off hard when I first played KCD1.
>>532094061This general loves to hate on Bartosh, but honestly he is a pretty decent hookup as far as Henry's one-night stands go. At least Henry doesn't get raped, he's into it, and it's not some manipulation technique.
woah, ho-ho-ho! I think there is one more thing that I must do to do before burying this poor soul...
>>532102391Cant you see hes bleeding down there?
>>532064714You could argue his "I've fucked you once and now I never want to see you again" attitude towards his hookups is pretty shitty, but that's probably caused by his intimacy issues rather than actual misogyny.
>>532108443He also claims at one point that a woman could never be his real friend, which is pretty funny in light of
>>532018246.
>>532108443And jitka being ugly
People love to turn jitka into this strong woman but my nightmare is shes super nice and sweet and it makes hans feel bad so he feels inspired to make her happy
>>532118368The Jitka being ugly thing is clearly just a massive cope. He can't say the real reasons why he doesn't want to get married, so he's grasping at straws.
>w-well what if she's ugly
Speaking of Hans, the dev notes for his ending scenes are cute as fuck. He's completely serious about that sex den vacation.
>Henry (quietly): Thanks you for... the encouragement before my journey.
>Henry (tries to calm him): And don't worry about the wedding. It had to happen one day.
>Hans (sighs): Bloody Hanush...
[Sam dead]
>Hans (serious): There are worse things, though.
>Hans (compassionately): I'm really sorry about what happened to Sam, Henry. [...] It's really terrible.
>Hans (carefully): I don't want this to sound bad, but...
>Hans (honestly): I'm glad nothing happened to you. That would have killed me.
[Sam alive]
>Hans (sighs): I'm just not sure what to do... after what happened, you know?
>Hans (carefully): I mean... me and you... I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how things turn out...
>Hans (turns serious): I was really worried about you.
>Henry: Likewise.
[injury talk]
>Henry (worriedly): Do you want me to take a look at it later?
>Hans (smiles): Why not? That's kind of you.
>Henry: What are your plans now?
>Hans (grumbles): I'm in no hurry for the courtship, believe me.
>Hans (quietens his voice): We need to stay in this region. So we'll hole up somewhere for a while.. Devil's Den, say.
>Hans (promisingly): Or we'll find something...more private.
>>532121172Sigh i want kcd3 now
>>532122108Most people have bad taste
>>532122108No idea about what โmanyโ means in this case, so I have no opinion.
>>532100023If it was just that, sure, but itโs the fact that they praise Bart โromanceโ while shitting on romances like Theresa and Rosa. Two are actual proper romances and the other is just a once and done side NPC with five lines of dialogue. Thatโs just factually incorrect.
>>532085720>>532094061>included Bartosch but not widow Johanka, Bianca, Myskha, DoubravkaI could understand not including Doubravka but lol. Lmao even.
>>532122108A lot of retards and gaming sites still view it as LE WOKE and purposely pretend that it wasn't a success. Sad really, because it's an amazing game and deserves goty and recognition imo. But at the end of the day, Geoff's goty doesn't matter when you remember then Red Dead 2 didn't win it either.
Honestly I'll be happy as long as anything other than E33 wins, because of how often E33 fans shit on KCD2. Maybe Death Stranding 2 will win or some Nintendo game. Maybe that anime horse girl gacha game will win. I'd like that.
>>532141350I have hard time believing its about the culture wars, wokeness in this game is quite minor compared to other games
I really think in the end the game is quite niche, and probably boring from the sim aspects. I wish for more sim elements in kcd3 though, i hope warhorse does not aim for awards and stay within their principle
Weโve got our first official KCD2 comic.
>Lost Tales

>Did you know how Radzig Kobyla came to own Silver Skalitz? What led Godwin to find faith? And how deep do the dark secrets of Martin the blacksmith go?

>>532143971>wokeness in this game is quite minor compared to other gamesthe steam forums make it seem otherwise
>>532147541Stream forums are a hellscape for most bigger games nowadays.
>>532062973>Also does that mean hans does not eat meat or dairy? Why wouldnโt he? If you mean farting because of lactose intolerance, native Western Euros donโt really suffer from it.
>>532146173>>532145293>Radzig and GodwinI sleep.
>>532162569I think Hans is now my favourite archer character. Never cared for those before.
>>532170773Not even Legolas from Lord of the Rings? I think he's pretty much the progenitor of that archetype in the modern day.
>>532170773>>532173364NTA but I loved Legolas when I was younger. In LOTR anyway, his weird storyline in the Hobbit movies was retarded. Hans is definitely my fav now though.
>>532158474What are those proportions?
>>532181959yaoi proportions
henry big
hans small
>>532182403>yaoi proportionsThe shoulder width alone could fit five heads, wild.
>>532185025The perfect shoulder width for Hans' legs to rest on while he's getting pounded, interesting coincidence
>>532170773Hans expertise in markmanship seems to be "tell, doesnt show"
Maybe in kcd3 he will get there but right now it feels more like the rightful schtick of dry devil and rosa
>>532191871>RosaDidn't hit shit while "covering" Henry
>DevilTook out Zizka's eye
>HansShot a boar once (at least he hit it)
>>532122108KCD2 should at least win for opttimization, e33 looks like shit on my pc

>>532191871>>532192193He's up on the ramparts while defending Nebakov and Suchdol because Zizka says the best archer they have, and that huntsman says he hits every mark. Other than that he hits one of Brabant's men while he's fleeing and I think that's all.
>DevilThis is weird because Kubyenka was said to be the best marksman in the group, no one ever said anything about Hynek being a good shot until the drunken Markvart incident.
>>532122108I'm not big on award shows but if KCD2 doesn't get a single award. I'd be somewhat disappointed.

>>532206959I didn't have to. I let the Semines be. And yes, I did this is my first playthrough, without knowing Von Bergow was the bad guy yet, and without looking anything up. (What do I win?)
>>532207634>I didn't have to. I let the Semines be.I didn't know you could do that
>>532206959>completely on board with nuking the village because grandpa semine got mad at me when I asked to be invited to the wedding after helping him>suddenly hans is near tears and screams "hashek you can't do this!!!!!">immediately change my mind, defend semine, and murder hashek right then and therethat goddamn twink got me again
>>532209069Anything for Hans.
>>532192549E33 being turnbased turns a lot of people away, but KCD2 combat also filters people and turns them away, so who knows. I personally found E33 writing to be predictable but I'm obviously biased.
Kino mod just dropped. Allows you to gift things to Hans or Katherine and kiss him. He can also give you presents in return and give you a bath.

>>532212842>I really want to stay at your innlol. This is pretty sweet.
>>532208727>>532208727I'm not sure if you have to do this first, but after you interrogate the bandit, when Hans asks what you think they should do, you answer "I reckon we shouldn't do anything". Then when Von Bergow questions you after, you tell him he's mistaken and no one in the region is helping the bandits. Iirc the Chamberlain even says some brown nose suck up shit like "Your subjects surely know better my lord". At the time I didn't guess what ALL was going on I just assumed it was more complicated than just Semine trying to kill Von Bergow and raid the countryside so I left well enough alone. Turns out that's the best choice in every way. You can actually talk to Semine and even Olda about this after the fact. Semine initially reproaches you for your behavior at the wedding but when you explain how you declined to incriminate him, despite the captured bandit implicating his family, he thanks you for saving his life and his lands. It's very clear by his reaction as well as other things you can learn throughout the game that Semine legitimately knew nothing and his son was acting on his own volition. While a good feeling in its own right, this all becomes infinitely more satisfying when you become aware of the whole situation, and how many lives Henry's restraint saved.
>>532206959Who would side with him?
>>532147541>the steam forums unless discussion is heavily moderated
every new game gets flooded with
>erm is it woke >x thing is woke>i won't play woke shit
>>532195521He also has a flawless kill streak during the Prey quest in KCD1. If you follow him around while youโre supposed to be hunting, you can see him shoot a shitload of rabbits. He just doesnโt pick any because he wants Henry to win.
>>532195521>no one ever said anything about Hynek being a good shot until the drunken Markvart incident. He has a training target and a crossbow near his bed in Devilโs Den. Heโs probably not supposed to be an amazing marksman, but good enough to hit a big stationary target like Markvart even when drunk.
>>532195521>>532228639I've said this in several threads now, but I'll say it, yet again. I implore anons to watch that scene on youtube or play it in game with headphones on, specifically listening for this. It's hilarious how early he decides to shoot him, and how early you hear him winding the crossbow. It's so easy to miss behind the dialogue going on. The relevance to your posts being this wasn't some snap shot. The man had it in his head the instant Von Bergow revealed himself that "Oh shit at least I'll get Von Aulitz. I'm going to die for this silver anywa y."
>>532229674IIRC you can see him contemplating something at his feet and later reaching for his crossbow while everybody is talking. He considered his options and yeah, decided to go for it once von Bergow showed up.
>>532173364I've never managed to get into LOTR. Watched the LOTR movies, read the book trilogy, still don't like it. The only part I really enjoyed in the books was Treebeard and the Ents because of how interesting their culture was.
>the hansry sex scene has a hidden part when the camera is focused on the burning fire
Just give us the long explicit cut, Vavra. You know you want to.
>>532246617God the way hans roll his shoulder so he can be closer to henry still makes me insane
Kcd2 should be goty
Warhorse did so well with the story, optimization, characters.
>>532246617if you look lower you can see that Henry is gripping Hans' hip too
>>532248057It deserves goty for sure, but sadly it probably won't win. I'd bet E33 is going to win every big category, unfortunately. Having played both myself I personally think KCD2 story and performances win easily. Can't think of a single moment in E33 that came close to Hans almost being hanged, Erik learning that Toth died, or Henry finally meeting Markvart.
>>532248057Should, but wonโt. GOTY awards usually go to super accessible games.
>>532250285I'm sure E33 is good, but I have like, negative interest in it. I'm not sure why. I should like the art style, I like final fantasy, and I enjoy a number of JRPGs, but idk. Something about it just doesn't appeal. So I wish KCD2 would get GOTY but yeah I agree E33 will probably just because I hear random people on podcasts saying "game of the decade"
>>532278582as someone who played e33 I have no idea why people are worshipping it so hard, it's good for sure but "game of the decade" is a stretch and a half
Hot new twitter drama update: as I predicted, the same Isterik fujo clique that harassed Luke until he threatened legal action and Tom has now moved on to trying to cancel Logan and claiming he's a pedo. Thankfully, at this point 99.9% of fans have realized that this clique is just insane and don't take them seriously.

>>532247851Itโs beautifully natural. Movie and game sex scenes are usually made to be titillating or sensual, but here you have a guy who is just really fucking happy.
>>532246617>Just give us the long explicit cut, Vavra. You know you want to.He'll wait until voting opens for game of the year

>>532333395>What's the most gross ship?No Bart makes that pretty hard. Hanush/Hans, Hanush/Henry, and Godwin/Henry are up there. I've seen a few Otto von Bergow/Hans fanfics.
>>532334745This is the kind of answer I needed from the Hansry community. I'm a straightfag and those are all more gross than what I imagined.
>Hynek: Seriously, whatโs going on between you and Zizka?
>Katherine: Ask him.
>Hynek: I have and he wonโt tell me!
Dry Devil whining about not being trusted with personal secrets is one of my favourite convos in the Devilโs Den.
I never wear chaperones because they remind me too much of Istvan but there is one exception. I would absolutely wear Voyta's chaperone. His drip is insane. He might be the only NPC whose entire outfit I would wear. Swag 100 million, 100 trillion. God damn, Based God.
>>532336918I also really enjoy that he consistently offends every woman that he encounters lmao. Sure, it's only two women, Kat and Rosa, but his interaction with Rosa after they rescue her from Maleshov is hilarious.
>makes a Finger of God joke>tries to get Von Bergow, then Janosh to smell his finger>notices Rosa, does a ridiculous exaggerated bow>"Oh, M'lady!">clearly disgusted, she exchanges a look with Henry
>>532337802Chaperone just looks ugly to me
And it makes my henry looks like hes just larping (which unironically is in character but..)
>>532338760I'm pretty serious about my rp so even my "fancy" Henry outfits are intentionally subdued. I would make an exception for this chaperone though. My rule of thumb is not to dress nicer than Hans. It's an RPG and at the end of the day people can play it however they want, but I cringe a little whenever I see someone dress their Henry in ridiculous finery. We argue all day about how Henry actually views the nobility and his role in society but he would almost certainly feel very uncomfortable wearing the finest of the finest clothes.
Henry savoring the last rays of the evening sun.
>>532340432I think we should argue about it.
>>532342186Okay fine lol. I think Henry, given his unique status and point of view, as well as his relationship with Hans, would absolutely question the rigidity of the social norms of his time. He often does, in fact. Doesn't mean he'd be comfortable dressing like a lord or even a burgher. (Rich Henry isn't canon unless we fast forward multiple years and he starts raking in that Pribyslavitz groschen.)
The two Bellatores quests with Posy and Tugbone (Miroslav) are so great. Two fun characters, great dialogue, interesting narrative, and satisfying resolution. One of my absolute favorite side quests. It might actually be my favorite side quest (even if it's technically two quests).
>>532342558Henry slips into the role of a haughty noble pretty gleefully in that one miner story quest.
>>532334745Radzig/Henry is up there too, surely.
>mfw it now has more fanfics than Henry/Theresa
>>532287263This is where we differ bc emotionally charged sex scene is more titillating
Its kinda crazy this game makes me prefer first person in games and i HATED first person
>>532354241Theresabrosโฆ Iโm so sorryโฆ
This is why everyone should write their own fanfiction, be the change you want to see.
>>532361254KCD1, KCD2, and Oblivion are unironically the only first person games Iโve ever enjoyed.
>>532369743>>532361254KCD1, KCD2 and Deus Ex HR & MD are pretty much the only exceptions for me. I always prefer 3rd person otherwise.
>>532369743Henry/Theresa fanfics pretty much completely died after KCD2 and thatโs entirely on Warhorse. Considering how hard it is to get her ending and the fact that the KCD playerbase is statistically very slutty, I wouldnโt be surprised if only like 1% of players got the Theresa end.
>>532359468It is, though itโs a rare opinion among the game makers for some reason.
>>532248310His hands are always going for the noble arse for some reason. Itโs his first instinct.
