I've finally finished Silverio Vendetta and anons didn't lie. Kamige. I want to go over everything I like, so

starting with the OST, it is simply great, I especially like the SOL BGM with singing. But Vendetta's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv6ZoSdyg2w and Christopher's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXWtXeFbG_k themes steal the spotlight, no contest.

As for character design, Vendetta stands above all for me, her design is the reason why I started reading it in the first place. Silver hair. Pink eyes. Pale white skin. Flat chest. Tiny body. Gothic lolita outfit to highlight all these features. Chris, Zephyr, Chitose, all look good too and there is not a single thing I would change about their appearance. (is Zephyr wearing the same scarf as his sister?)

Vendetta's voice was nothing like I expected, only having seen screenshots of her smug face and knowing (almost) nothing about her, I expected her to sound like Chitose, but younger, gentler and softer. That said it has really grown on me and I wouldnt want her voice to sound any other way. Every character's voice fits them and that said Chris is my favorite.

Nothing will top cursed mecha demons fighting amidst post ww2 Yamato for me, but the world is cool too, not the most in-depth, but enough. Esperanto, Planetes, Amaterasu, it's all explained and no questions arise.

Tenshi Reboot's plot and ichaicha are pretty mid, but yuzusoft really upped their H-scene game.

Zephyr has really grown on me as a protagonist. Even if the outside is different, the very core of him is literally me, so it was actually painful to watch him in the beginning. Making up excuses and lies all to run away from doing the right thing because it is hard, even if he wants to do it. Until he is cornered and has no choices left, he won't do anything. But he can't escape 'victory'...

As for His Excellency there is no need to explain why he is so beloved. OUR FUCKING HERO. Very great antagonist. Born in the slums, his goal is to turn Adler into a fair country with no corruption and for this ambition he will sacrifice anything. He always wins for his nation, for his people, but who exactly is this 'someone' he fighting for? I like the gradual reveal towards the end that he is not fighting for his grand dreams as much as he is fighting for himself, not that different from everyone else.

VENDETTA. The absolute bestest girl. I lover her, I love her and I love her. Everything about her exceeded my expectations (that were already high). From the very first encounter with her, we are shown that she and Zephyr share past together, and probably not the most pleasant one, as the first thing Zephyr does is trying to decapitate her. She is a walking contradiction, acting like an older sister, despite being the youngest one. She is very kind and supportive, yet harsh at the same time. A great chunk of the story she remains a complete mystery, even as more and more facts are revealed about her. Why does Zephyr feel like he is talking to a corpse? Because she is one if you think about it, as it is revealed Artificial Planets were once human, died and then got resurrected with their internal structure rebuilt. Why does he feel such terror towards her? Maybe it's something he has been running away from and yet he cant escape? Raping your younger brother whom you loved so much because of mental breakdown because you couldnt be honest and ask him for help, while he was understandably scared to approach you, not because he is a selfish fuck, but because of your fake creepy cheery persona, when you are living in literal hell? Yeah. Minor is a fitting name, for such an insignificant person, a grain of sand stuck in the complex mechanism of Holy War to ruin Chris' and Kagutsuchi's plans. Incest saved the world.

It is in Vendetta's route we finally get the answer to what this 'victory' that we cant escape is. We can't escape our past. The realization of this and acceptance of past is victory. As long as Zephyr is alive his past will follow him and will always be with him together.
The past may be hard, painful but is it the reason to discard it? It is something that happened. People grow the most through pain, but what good is this pain, if you don't accept this happened? This applies to all characters, but not everyone has realized it.

I absolutely love the final battle and Zephyr and Vendetta's self-sacrifice, something that neither Kagutsuchi, nor Chris would be able to do, as first and foremost they were fighting for themselves, while Zephyr and Vendetta were fighting for their beloved and the past they shared together.

That said, a simple question remains. Who is Vendetta? Who is it that awakens to Zephyr in episode 1? Who is it that we spend entire vn with? Is it Zephyr's beloved sister, or Artemis, who helps him realize 'victory'? We know that Vendetta is an anomaly. While others of her kind only have thoughts, impulses, etc remaining from their previous lives, they are still not their original selves, but Minor's consciousness remained within her newly rebuilt body of Artemis. And so, she decided not to awaken, until her beloved came to her. Before beginning the VN, I was already spoiled, so I believed that Vendetta was simply his older sister, guiding him towards 'victory', so when I first read the reveal scene, it only reassured my belief that Artemis and Minor are one with the latter in control.

But now I am doubtful, so what is your interpretation, anons? Who is Vendetta? Zephyr's sister with the power of Artemis? Or Artemis, with Minor's consciousness buried deep within until Zephyr finally faced her?

Maybe if I wasn't spoiled about this, my perception of Vendetta wouldn't be warped. I always believed that this Vendetta I loved was none other than his sister, but now I am just going back and forth, unable to decide.

Glad you liked it. I thought the regular SOL vocal BGM was weird at first but I grew to appreciate it. It's great and I wish it was more common in VNs. I'm also a big fan of the 魔星 theme and Zephyr's own theme music, and his Sphere chant is the coolest in the series.

Trinity is great too. I think overall the characters are a bit of a downgrade, Ash is cool but not as cool as Zephyr, and his heroines didn't interest me as much as either Vendetta or Chitose. They make up for it with the routes being more consistently good and having a direct connection to the first game though.
