Digimon generally has the right idea with aesthetic design for its characters/humans, and having hubs that are functional and utilitarian; though Next Order's hub was total ass too once it became a city and the level design was equally as infuriating to traverse on foot in certain areas like the Bony Resort or that wartorn shithole, but Next Order was a shit game that nobody defends and nobody's asking for more garbage like it anyway.

Combined with fishing upgrades to get several fish at a time, and you can get some big funds real quick. The TCG has a ton of fantastic artists. This is mid 2010's early gacha tier shit, like the low rarity cards from Million Arthur. I liked that, in Digimon World 1, getting to level Ultimate was a very hard thing to do, and there were no Megas, Ultimate was all you could get, so when you faced Machinedramon it was all more special, when you saw the final boss was a mega level digimon, the only one in the game, and you knew this was it, the final fight... I don't know...
I would like a game like that, with more rookies and champions and stuff, but less Megas and less fusions, not because I don't like them, but because that makes the final battle way more intense.
