I didn't like SV, though in theory it could have been a good game if it wasn't so half-baked and ugly*. I couldn't believe my fucking eyes when I saw that they took Legends Arceus, a game with a beautiful art style, and made a sequel that brought back SV's hideous mixed-race facebook avatar looking shit and the awful blocky and bland building/environment design.

*It's easier on the eyes when you're out in the wild catching pokemon and ignoring trainers, instead of traversing through the shitty over-sized hub that was basically a tiny town stretched out with empty filler buildings and pointless food shops, or its clone cities that were just smaller versions of that shithole with the same issues.
Digimon generally has the right idea with aesthetic design for its characters/humans, and having hubs that are functional and utilitarian; though Next Order's hub was total ass too once it became a city and the level design was equally as infuriating to traverse on foot in certain areas like the Bony Resort or that wartorn shithole, but Next Order was a shit game that nobody defends and nobody's asking for more garbage like it anyway.

Yeah, the art philosophy is definitely the same between New Century and Time Stranger. Little to no reliance over textures. Most of the 'carrying' happens between the 3D model and reflections.
The bad thing is that in dark areas like Three Musketeer's/Jesmon's area (the teaser), the model will look rather dark, because the model depends on a lighting source at least to look proper and stand out.
Personally, especially for Digimon, I feel like a lot of reliance for textures (DMO, especially Chaosdramon X who's IMO their best work ever) is better, but I do feel like metallic reflections like in CS/HM/TS is a good thing too, if done properly.

You should definitely be strong enough to do battle grinding for money. Plus you'll get stats and items, potentially for selling, too.
If you want a non-battle option for money fishing and selling is generally the fastest method. Optimally, you'll need the level 5 fishing spot in the city, Vikemon, and two Digi Snakeheads from Bony Resort to make it so they can spawn in the 5th pond. Combined with fishing upgrades to get several fish at a time, and you can get some big funds real quick.
