One thing you're not realising is that Sega already DOESN'T only focus on Japan's market when it comes to the Sonic series, retard. Frontiers sold better in Japan than every other Sonic game since Heroes. Why, in your mentally diseased mind, would they have been referring to Sonic when they already have a western focus for it, and increased marketing caused Frontiers to sell better domestically? They're going to go heavy on the marketing again with Frontiers 2, maybe even harder. Hell, they literally are already increasing Sonic's presence in Japan with their new store.

Silver because he feels out of place and doesn't really add anything to the series. His debut games makes a disastrous job at establishing him to the audience, his powers don't feel like Sonic character abilities and in general nothing about him was well thought out. Sonic Team just expected us to care about a character that has nothing going for him just because he's "strong" and a male hedgehog. He feels like a very corporate character created to ape off Shadow's success.

Speaking of Shadow I do like him overall but he was also an unnecessary addition that takes way too many elements from preexisting characters like Knuckles and Metal Sonic, and it felt like for a while Sonic Team cared more about him than Sonic himself. Though I will say SA2 did a waaaaay better job at establishing Shadow's character than 06 ever did for Silver.

All these repeated sentences vaguely tell you who the character is and what their role is except Amy's. Her dialogue is so generic here. Forest? Since when was she super interested in forests? It's not Rush 3, it's just recycling some of its code. It's really nowhere near as good as Rush Adventure or Colors proper. Trying to copy Sonic Team's boost was a mistake. The graphics look cheap compared to the other DS games, it's especially noticeable on the title screen and menus, but the zones aren't great either. The dialogue is much better and more engaging in the DS version though, the character cameos are nice
