There's no such thing as learning. They seriously thought they could make their own video games with blackjack and hookers, that they needed to pull their licensing deals to facilitate this, and that they should do this long before seeing any fruits of this initiative. Meaning when it all fell apart, they had lost their licensing money and soured relations for nothing. I don't think even the average fentanyl zombie would be stupid enough to do this. And whoever did this is probably still working at Netflix, is still just as stupid as he was before. They'll get another harebrained scheme in the future and try it again. People do not grow or change, especially when they are rich enough to not have to do so. My guess is that once Stranger Things disappears off the face of the Earth within a month of the show ending, and its money dries up, Netflix will jack up their license renewal fee and BHVR will say no.

The best way to slow the game down is actually downing survivors.

Sure there are killers that slug intentionally, but in most cases it's a byproduct of survivor actions, they're basically going to nerf the few ways killers can counter some of these insane scenarios, but that makes sense because again the game is about how much fun you can give to the survivors, it's their playground and you're a toy in it

Lion Medal for more controlled throws or RPD Shoulder Walkie since it's a good increase on maximum grab distance. (The first is shorter, so a reduction by percentage will do less than the increase in percentage on the later one)
Jewel beetle is a good addon, since throwing is better than slamming, you're not forced to pick an injured survivor up and you're not sitting still as much, have more choice where a healthy survivor goes to be injured.

against any killer worth their salt there is nothing you can do to avoid getting hit in the open. you must have a pallet/window to use (or distance) otherwise you will get hit. blight is no exception. sometimes you can hug a rock or something and run around it while he bounces back and forth trying to catch you mispositioned but this is still an edge case and good blights are likely to still get the hit, especially if they're using speed addons.

link tiles together. this might be the most important one, especially if you're using windows and/or can identify nearby tiles with ease. practically every single tile in the game can be made stronger by linking it with an adjacent tile, especially if you have a set-up that gives you a fast vault into a window. it becomes very hard for the killer to get pallets down when you can reset distance with a fast vault repeatedly while threatening to run to one of two different pallets. linking junk tiles is also good, as it preemptively punishes the killer for not holding W while still being safe yourself

i dont think its really fair to compare disabling flashlight saves to a theoretical perk that disables the main ways to speed up the only objective survivors have. like i get what you're saying but lightborn prevents a relatively uncommon thing from happening, compared to something like franklins which ALSO disables something without any interactivity at all.
