There's always more to learn. Your mindset is the best to have. Don't worry too much about it and just keep trying to improve. I'm nearing 1100 hours played and still obviously have plenty more that I could learn. Case in point, my lack of knowledge and experience with Surgical on the revolver. If you go seeking information (whether from here, youtube, or reddit), just be sure to check whatever you can to make sure it's true. I will say that depending on what you're doing in the Meat Grinder, those 2 hours might be better spent in actual matches. Build autism doesn't matter if your fundamental skills are shit. You don't need to have enemy movesets completely memorized to do well in every difficulty, but you do need to know/recognize the important bits (overheads, captain/twin sweep attacks, monster knocks, special cues, etc.)

absolutely agree. i noticed that when playing with the infantry autogun. On paper with brittleness and rending it just melts through crushers but in practice, aiming 30 shots, while being out of stamina therefore no 25% crit bonus and having enemies around you makes it nearly impossible to land those shots while es with revolver i can just snipe them across the map before even coming into contact with them. I think one shot weapons work better with controllers in this game because of low recoil and less time spend shooting.

Another questions to anyone. Focus target and target down can be triggered by memebers from the group Does that mean taking those talents will trigger for example confirmed kill too if another group memeber but me kills the target or am i hallucinating?

I have 500hrs and have been playing with ~180-200 ping since hour 1 for connecting to NA East because no one in South America plays this game. I think ping in this game is not a big issue. Blocking, dodging, and even pushing pox hounds always work just fine. VT2 is a game where ping above 100 is entirely unplayable because your blocks take a solid second to respond.

Servers were really bad today, I had poxburster run right through me ignoring 2 pushes, and the whole thing lagged a lot, I couldn't move at times and my melee speed dropped for no reason. Fps also visibly dropped, I imagine that's how server performance affects the clients, must be something with swedish netcode. I attributed it to dog bleed though cause a lot of people reported similarbshit before when they played with dogs but it never happened to me when I was running a dog without bleed.

Additionally, whenever the game wants to cast blood decals, it spawns an invisible dynamic physics object to simulate the travel time of blood. A invisible "blood ball". This happens every time you strike an enemy and they bleed from what I can tell, from even horde enemies like Poxwalkers to monstrosities. Only a maximum of 16 can be spawned per frame, however, it has a queue, meaning it can spawn 16 simulated physics objects for the sake of blood decals every frame depending on the amount of carnage going on, and you could easily end up with upwards of 20+ blood decal objects flying around being simulated for a few frames.

My mod adds an option to simplify the blood decal behavior, making it a one-and-done raycast that projects linearly with a maximum range of 7.5 meters based on where you hit the enemy, with instant travel time, therefore saving a bunch of performance. The default value is on by default.

Any of these things would've spared him. Hell, with the time and freedom of movement he had, he could've swapped to his gun and blew the barrel himself to assert dominance.
Additionally, the time between the swings isn't terribly relevant; you'll note that I didn't mention anything about running towards a lit barrel, just towards a barrel in general if a teammate is remotely in proximity to it. Think of it like always treating a gun as if it's loaded, and you'll find that you virtually never die to barrels anymore.

It's just upgraded flak armor worn by Enforcers, the local cops. Just like how most IG uniforms is explained to be modeled after famous Cadian patterns, most Enforcer armor is modeled after the famous Palanite Enforcers of Necromunda (really just an excuse to reuse designs and avoid having to design too many unique patterns).

For the current rotation, if you really want to rank up as easy as possible, look for Archivum Sycorax and Hab Dreyko. The two easiest modifiers are Heinous Rituals and Rampaging Enemies. The plasma gun is extremely powerful, and an appropriate build makes it borderline overpowered, but even then it's no top performer, and relatively tricky to play compared to the alternatives, with severe downsides. Bolts and las perform better in havoc for reasons that are nuanced and would take a while to explain, and only hardstuckies disagree because they don't understand nuance. Not that it's a bad weapon by any means, of course.

Infinite ammo (picrel), huge aoe giga stagger, rapes bosses (including with DoT), clears infinitely dense hordes without even needing to aim.
Even in aurics, a good rumbler ogryn will just spam it and basically solo the entire run, as long as you feed him ammo. But that's fine, it's not like you ever have to shoot when the ogryn just hard carries you.
In havoc, you have five dozen dense hordes of armor, which the rumbler not only stunlocks, but also kills in a handful of shots. Then it also kills monstrosities. It doesn't require any aim or skill. As long as you keep your stacks up, it also has virtually infinite ammo, and that shit is actually kind of optional if you just bring a vet or something lol.

I don't really recommend taking it into aurics btw, because it can't hit snipers through fences or if you have a roof in the way of your arc. Your retards will never, ever, ever look even at a pinged sniper, and then cop 2-3 downs to it.

I've been having some rough games as Psyker bros. I feel like I always get abandoned mid-fight by my team-mates and being so squishy I can barely afford a mistake before going down. I didn't have this problem on any other Class running damnation.

I run the bubble + the staff that does target ground Aoe, and lastly the Great sword. I have no problem horde-clearing or gutting elites using the sword. For big groups and dangerous target I tend to focus on staggering them using the staff so the team can kill them + creating some breathing room. But more often than not everyone just leaves the bubble to get mulched by ranged and leave me behind trying to deal with everything coming from behind us. I struggle as the psyker when I am un-supported compared to every other class where I can usually carry or at the very least carry my own weight. Does the Psyker just require more protection from the team? Or do I just suck?

How do you struggle at all with voidblast? Just dodge and spam it (full charge) at your feet and everything in a 5 mile radius gets staggered. You don't even need a melee weapon with that staff. Maybe your charge speed is just shit because it's not fully upgraded?

Psyker is a bit squishier than the others and needs fancier footwork to keep up, especially while charging the staff frequently. Mostly its just part of keeping your head on the swivel to make sure you're not getting backstabbed or left behind.
One thing that helps with the three of the staves is ample use of the blaze bolt, even on the voidblast staff. The basic projectile has massive suppression, weaving in 2-3 in the general direction of ranged enemies will shut them down while you and the team advance. Also being mindful of the circle placement of the voidblast staff and where the enemies are being thrown, its often better to only place half the circle under them to make sure they get knocked back and not behind you or others.
For melee, just slapping that pie plate near your feet should stop anything getting too close.

My fun Auric build for Voidblast psyker is to combine it with the flaming shriek, so I can focus blasting on elites while the flames burn out all the little stuff.

So what did I do wrong when picking this party? I wanted to go with arby, but switched to vet because no zealots and vets were applying, and then I took a zealot in the last moment.
We folded to twins twice. First was understandable because I was snatched by a chaos spawn through a wall and thrown outside the map, so they had to fight twins + chaos spawn with 3 players + the game decided to spawn like 8 bulwarks on them for no reason in that moment + it was the very start of the game and they fought this mess in a narrow tunnel (Should I just blacklist Archivum Sycorax? I thought it was one of the easier ones but the boss spam is almost as frequent as refinery delta)
Second time we wiped because I was dealing with one twin and the 3 of them were dealing with the other twin, with no success, and I was netted by a mute trapper so it was over as soon as I went down
Somehow I picked entire team of people incapable of fighting twins, and I can't tell if there were signs. It was rampaging enemies + garden so I wanted a psyker to deal with the poxies, which he did. Bubble was a bonus, I would take a shriek psyker if anyone applied.
I also paid attention to low clearance shitters, blue trinkets shitters, random dump stats shitters and other kinds of gamer dads. I guess I should have figured a zealot with a crusher would not have enough mobility to do backstabs and spam book (he had a tree for that but not the weapon, I thought he knows what he's doing though).
How could I have avoided this scenario? I just want to climb the damn ranks but the game won't give me adequate teammates, I don't even know why they can't fight bosses, like is crusher and shield maul bad for lieutenants? I don't think so.

I always run at least one +3 stamina curio on all my characters so i can pretty much spam shove if I want to. Eh, its cleave is perfectly fine for Aurics (haven't been playing much Havoc lately and haven't tried it there). If you take the IV and just spam lights into mass, you'll demolish it so long as you have Brutal Momentum. And the IV has very strong heavy attacks that can, with double crits, either 2 or 3 shot Crushers on Arby (with double crits) without even having Headtaker. Zealot might need 3 crits. I can't really remember; regardless, it was very fast, and the IV actually kills Carapace faster with heavies now after the buff whereas I think the II is still better off light spamming, but I can't remember if I actually retested that with any thoroughness.

But any buffs a class gives a weapon will apply to all its attacks, and the Mk IV Tac Axe kills Crushers/Maulers quicker with heavies rather than lights on both Zealot and Arby. Are you running Decimator or Relentless Strikes? Decimator stacks to 10, but Relentless Strikes stacks 5 times on the same target. There's no blessing that stacks to 10 on the same target. Relentless Strikes is going to be significantly less useful for the overwhelming majority of a game, and Decimator isn't a good option because things like missed attacks or pushes (including pushattacks) reset your stacks, and Tac Axe is a weapon you'll push or push-attack with frequently when fighting hordes, especially with unreliable teammates.

Yes.
If you want max health, toughness or stamina curio the power level needs to be 410 at least.
But if you have like 20% health curio or a 15-6% toughness curios, those are just fine.

It's not because of auric.
For stamina you need 410 because then it actually is +3 stamina.
400 stamina curio is around only +2, but due to Swedish code jank it rounds up to look like +3.
Same happens with toughness and health curios.

Only one where power level doesn't matter is wound curios since they always give you +1 wound regardless of level.
