I wanna do a quick any% starting class only ER run. I'd still upgrade, use talismans and infuse but only with the same ash and the infusion it it defaults to. I can't decide between vagabond and samurai.
Square off vs unsheathe is similar enough but the katana has bleed.
A decent medium shield vs a small parry shield, I don't tend to use either but I'd probably do guard counters over parries.
Halberd vs bow, range would definitively be better here imo, the basic halberd doesn't really bring anything besides a higher stagger value.
Armor is whatever, I'm skilled enough to mostly no-hit.
Any opinions?

Banished Knights, Godskin duo, Beastmen, Crystallians, 3dog, and every single night gank fight is trivialized by damage dumping during invisibility.

Dragon, Wyrm, and Kindred still do their timewasting bullshit invisible or not.
You're throwing if you use it on charging Gnoster (charge immediately starts again when invisibility runs out), to revive a single person (you're still invisible, the guy who has shown they can't take aggro is now the ONLY person with aggro), and technically Maris (spins 9 miles away from you)

to be fair Raider's Dawn and Darkness skin kinda suck. But his other skins are soo good it balances it out. Helps that he has the best remembrance skin too it's difficult to not use it.

Mohgwyn Nightfarer:
Description+passive: I picture this Moghwyn man a bit more heavily armored, melee and that starts low-ish in health but gets more max health the more kills/boss kills he gets so he COULD have more than Guardian in extremely good runs but less health than Executor in bad runs, basically feast or famine though with hopefully a nice middle ground.
He also can resurrect himself reconstructing himself from blood, if everyone dies. Basically a free wending grace but only works once per game. Oh and some passive healing.

Then his skill would be something like that has a long cooldown but you can either do damage or spend some of your blood (health) to lower it (if you do it too much you get a slight damage decrease because that's what happens when you lose too much blood) and ask for aid to the Formless Mother and get 3 choices of some cool bloodflame related skills while idling in the pose that Mohg does with his Hand up before doing the bloodflame splash/rain (i choose it to be like that cus it makes sense with Formless mother lore, the more you wound yourself up the more she's willing to aid you)

Then finally his ultimate art would be that you grow up wings like Mohg and your attacks heal you more than normal, you attack faster, you are faster and can double jump now with your new wings.
But with a trick, if you use your skill in this state then you surrender to your thirst and like pump your blood flow to the extreme, you get a damage boost (on top of attacking faster) and your health starts depleting with increasing speed, the more damage you do the more this state will last until the health depletion is too fast to keep up (or you job) and you just die/faint (if you're solo herle comes the self resurrect part)

All of these accompanied with lots of nice bloody sound effects to add more crisp to the gameplay :)
Now, idk how to make his/her stats work, maybe like fth arcane? preferred weapons: Scythes

Most of the Night1 bosses purely exist as an extreme shitter filter.
If you somehow fucked up enough to reach Smelter's cool ranch mode, you better be ending it quick or you lose.
Across 500+ expeditions, the only time I have ever seen blue mode was when I decided to fuck around as guardian in randoms and the randoms played like they were trying a soulslike for the first time in their lives.
