Depends what exactly about the MU you struggle with. If it's his buttons that are fucking you up, then try to play a bit more passive or out of the general range of them. That may provoke him into using elk hunt to which you can hop over and punish with J.S or something. Bedman is a MU that Sin wins pretty handedly so it's not like you're doing anything particularly wrong if you're losing to a good one. It's just in his favor. What tends to work against me when I play against Bedman is when Bedman uses the install super a good amount

Absolute guard is a mechanic that makes it so you keep blocking while in blockstun even if you are mashing or holding other directions, this makes it much easier to do reversals ASAP. Ofc you still have to properly hold a downward direction to block low. Most games have absolute guard, a notable exception is 3rd Strike because of its parry mechanic, there would be no risk to try to red parry a move if you'd just continue to block if you messed up. In Strive, they take away absolute guard because... uh... well it's harder to block Faust mix during meteors.. uh....

Sure his whole thing in the cutscenes is teleporting long distances but that has nothing to do with his actual gameplay. Raven and Valentine get the actual teleport abilities.
