Based on sv1, I noticed that some decks just work for me and some don't. I'd probably learn them eventually if I kept playing them, but they just don't click.

It may feel like there's lots of RNG involve, and there is, but there's still a certain element of strategy. In WB, I've exclusively played spellboost and I learned some things about the deck that have made me win games, such as
>being passive/defensive and just trying to reach turn 10 with satan+dshift loses you most games
>various specific, deck-based insights like if you're going 2nd against portal, using the +1pp on turn 6 to drop Kuon can fuck them over because they can't respond with Orchis yet

Knowing exactly what your opponent can do to kill you and when, for example, is something you need to know to be able to understand when to go face and when to trade.

If you play spellboost without having any idea of the deck, you might be tempted to play defensive, in which case you never make your enemy burn sevos defensively, resulting in them just killing you with banked up plays. When I started playing WB, I lost to portals just doing double sevo orchis with banked up dolls because I wasn't forcing them to clear boards.

It's pretty obvious when you know what you're doing but if anon is struggling, anything could help. It takes a while to get into whatever deck you're playing.

Depends on what list you run, but before infinity for example, people were running blaze destroyers again. You'd win against portal and sword sometimes just by having A&G and a blaze or two on turn 5-6.

Most matches you probably do win on turn 10 if you win, but getting there alive usually involves trying to pressure your enemy with boards instead of just defensively killing whatever they put down.

I just played the longest, shittiest match of my life as Midrange Abyss vs some sort of Portal Artifact build. I don't know what the FUCK happened to the Portal player, but it took him until turn 20 and the second Gundam for him to finally grind me down. This is after he made some disgusting Alpha piece with three icarus and the invincibility effect stacked on it, so he just had complete nonsense card advantage. I kinda knew I had lost after I was forced to spend my second GinYuz because I still only have two, but it felt like a shame to scoop up after so long. It didn't feel like a GOOD endgame match where both players are slugging it out, it just felt like me barely keeping my head above water while waiting to die.

Having alts in card games makes little sense, it's more effective to have all your cards in one account. And rerolling takes time, I remember at release some people were still rerolling after 3 days.
Take your hourly salary, multiply it by how many hours you spent rerolling. If the result is higher than what it would've cost to simply buy the crystals, you have effectively lost money.
Plus if he spends money for it he'll also roll a bunch of cards, and because it's his main account a lot of them will be dupes, which means vials. It's just more effective than rerolling on an alt.

i think lymaga is better off in future expansions
