I'm sorry but there is literally no team that is planning to stream the new raid with the intention of just streaming a black screen. I don't know who is spreading this rumor (that's not true, I do), but if a team is going into the raid with the intention of black screening, they just won't stream. Teams will continue to just do the no comms, and no buffs/debuffs.

Much like how literally no team went into Salvation's Edge with the intention of streaming a black screen.

What's wrong with that? The problem in Destiny is making everyone the DPS class instead of Titans being proper tanks and Warlocks proper support. Titans and Warlocks are better than Hunters because they can somewhat do the previous things and still do more DPS than the supposed DPS class.

Finally got around to playing Edging My Fate. Played up to finishing the first two Stranglet Capsule questlines.
Honestly not as AIDs as I thought it was going to be, seeing the hate towards it.
I don't really mind matterspark out in the world. Its novel, but a bit of a nothing burger. I fucking despise it in the boss fights. It adds nothing, other than an extra step in disabling the boss immunity. Before it was just shoot-X, throw ball at X. Now its that plus turn into a ball and find a room to shoot-X.
Story is... kinda meh? Its just the "Fallen try to gain power from X-source" plot beat yet again, with some Maya Sundaresh thrown in. Lodi is pretty interesting, though. He's carrying the story hard. Him bitching out Ikora for there being zero dates is pretty funny. When he goes "no bunkers?", you have to be side-eyeing the Rasputin bunkers everywhere and Golden Age beings like Clovis still around. Or Neomuna, a literal information hub.
Speaking of Ikora, I'm pretty sure she's someone Lodi knew back in the 70s. He seemed to recognize her initially, thinks she should trust him deep down, asks these seemingly innocent questions to her but there's a bit of hesitation like he's poking to get a reaction.
The Lodi fish-out-of-water stuff is really well done.
Music is super bland. You can really sense Michael Salvatori's absence.
Anyways. 6/10 so far. Gonna take a nap.

I agree, but Destiny's role design is clearly meant for EVERYONE to be able to contribute in any fashion...so long as it's Bungie-approved.
I actually rather like that I don't HAVE to switch to Warlock to support or Titan to tank. Sure, the Hunter builds for these things may be weaker or require more involved builds, but they exist and they're effective. The problem is that the class identities that Bungie uses for characters are utterly retarded.

At least twice that I observed tonight, a team got the kill on the final boss, only for the game to give about 5% HP back and wipe the team.
At least once, a team got to Last Stand but had a player error code out of the raid.
At least once, a team was playing perfectly but the wipe mechanic activated suddenly with over a minute left on the timer.
Lord of Wolves should've been banned, but if it had been the race likely would've been impossible to clear.
Bungie flagrantly not doing a clear check on their own content.
The aggressive need for hotswapping despite Bungie being clear that they do not like it being meta.
The absurd 4-day timer to learn and farm for the new armor system and get up to power.

This was just a completely terrible raid race on all fronts. Bungie should be ashamed that this shipped, and I can't wait for the layoff announcement.
