I go into every raid with one or two objectives in mind. Every time you do a task it's a gamble, there are a hundred other dick heads trying to do your exact quests.

For example, I needed to do burning rubber. Im not the only person. Why risk 40k rubles when I can just camp the car and catch a retard who has brought in 40k to complete the task?

I've still not done any quests besides the GZ stuff really and i've been entirely focused on doing my hideout, im still stuck at lvl 1 for everything. I'm close to a few lvl 2s, but it still feels miles away. I've been living in GZ since it has the most uncontested Technical Crates and tool boxes I know of and all of it is near atleast one extract or more.

I typically don't when im just farming the hidden caches and weapon boxes thst are along the way. The pistol is really there to drop scavs and as a last resort self defense tool.

The beauty of it is that it holds like 10 mags with of ammo with out occupying any of your slots.

I usually wear the grenadier harness and the smallest, but most spacious back pack I have to maximize the amount of bullshit I can leg back to extract without being seen.

you can convert useless EUR into RUB easily by buying markers from ragman
Ref currently buys guns and gun accessories for more than mechanic
don't accept the quest reward "the eye" from mechanic because it's useless and there is no way to remove it from your inventory.

Finally played on Customs after a long hiatus on GZ. It's like Vietnam, there is gun fire and explosions coming from every direction. The second you fire your gun player scavs and PMCs come running with reckless abandon.

I'm just spamming customs, zero queue time, rarely do you find pmcs that will contest you. It's a good map to find hideout upgrade items since there are a lot of toolboxes, some technical crates, some weapon cases, a few duffel bags. Depending on which side of the map I spawn I go to the yellow areas and loot whole buildings, then if my bag isn't full yet I go to the new building marked with red, especially the metal scaffolding which no one loots. Then there is the skeleton building next to it with a duffel bag, technical crate and 2 weapon boxes.

I usually have really good scav raids, then I load the pmc down with some one elses kit, then run a raid and then take a break while i wait for energy and hydration to refill. Rinse repeat. I like playing with some one else's kit, when you die its no skin off your back. When you extract its all gravy. I've been in class 4 armor with 35+ pen ammunition for the majority of my pmc raids.

I think PVE got patched with some kind of modern AI miss chance mechanics. You know, the kind where even if you get hit, the game does another roll to check if it deals damage or not. I'm intentionally getting hit to farm vitality and damage some armored rigs for Ragman's quest, but probably 66% of scav shots don't do damage to me. Some of the shots even have buffs of blood appear right in front of my vision, which seems to imply the hit should've been a headshot. On the other hand, PMCs were still two tapping me in one shot from the front through a tier 4 face mask, tier 3 soft neck, and a tier 6 front plate.

I didn't, but I don't think it would fire. I think the game logic for a magazine still exists in revolver entities, but there's no logic by which a revolver can access its 'magazine' since they use a bunch of discrete chambers. Guns never spawn with loaded chambers in containers after all

Had some fun on woods today, saw the BTR run an ai scav and laughed my ass off. Also managed a rare 1tap with a boltie, yes I am that bad with them. Final part of the clip is dabbing on this 3k hour chad, got stirrup done QUICK this wipe thanks to my stechkinfu. He was geared to the teeth, though not geared enough I suppose. He was injured coming into that clip because we danced a bit a minute earlier, apparently the nade I threw at him through the bushes met its mark. Yeah I made it out but if I had died right then and there I would have uninstalled the fucking game. Playing Arena made me realize how fucking bad the average player is and that they actively try to avoid legitimate combat unless if they get the jump on you, so they just camp corners still and quietly for 60% of their matches and as a result I've grown to resent the core gameplay loop of Tarkov despite sort of liking it for so long.

No matter how I config spt, the bots feel like shit and have tons of issues, especially with spawning and their gear. I've tried every mod out there and it's always a compromise. The game runs pretty bad because I'm hosting on my own pc and it crashes randomly during raids, and often when starting raids. Every single time spt updates to a new version it runs worse (base tarkov issue) and modders take time to update, if they even decide to. No matter what anyone says, spt is not "superior" in any way to actual pvp.

First few wipes of tarkov I had a lot of fun doing Sam Fisher RP. Wipe after wipe it became harder and harder to stealth my way into pistol kills even though I was improving. When I played my scav I had no issues killing PMCs who were still in raid, but any time I tried to play my PMC it was head shots through cover at night from PMCs who could not have possibly known in raid after raid. That video confirmed suspicions I was having at the time.

So far this wipe has been great, only had a few deaths that I suspect were due to wall hacks.
