I haven't made legendary in a while. It took 50 games with the Mech deathrattle deck. It's very easy, non-interactive and very powerful. I definitely threw a few games, usually to Priest by letting them shove Chillin Voljin up my ass.

Played against a lot of murloc paladin. T5 Tortolla into Carnivorous Cubicle is GG.

Arena right now is about Tempo. Card advantage doesn't matter much because there's so much Discover and no one ever runs out of gas. Draft cards that most affect the board. Draft a lower than usual curve so you can get on the board first.

I've never really had ecologist cuck me out of a good Umbra since your quest should realistically die like 6 or 7 times assuming they get to the cube as well. I feel the body plus the holy spell you get is more important than umbra possibly whiffing. Some lists run clou serpents for more of the quest lego but it doesn't seem necessary to me. The only list that doesn't have ecologist is sitting at a 58 percent winrate across 57 games so I'd assume he's more important than he looks

You're just shitting out cards left and right, completing your Quest, playing what would have been Quests rewards for free now (like that 7/7 that gives you an infinite deck that SCALES each turn). I was playing against quest Rogues and quest Mages in arena, just shitting out cards every turn to complete their quests and then getting drowned by the insane value of the Mage's weapon and the infinite card draw and board presence of the Rogue. They get to draw 4 cards for 1 mana on their hero power because apparently the ones that shuffle themselves back into the deck when they die aren't enough value on their own to be infinitely resummoned.

After all this time it's crazy that nothing came along to rival Hearthstone. Every game failed.

You know what used to balance out discover effects? They were fucking expensive tempo wise and on understatted minions or expensive spells. Exact same thing with drawing extra cards. Compare Novice Engineer and Loot Hoarder with any modern cards that discover, much less draw. Those things used to be fucking staples in any combo deck because draw was hard to come by and now anything other then hard aggro is seeing the bottom of it's deck by like turn 15 at most.

Mech Warrior is stupidly OP I might be because im at rank 5 diamond but dude wtf why does this get slept on. I hit my dad legend so I don't care if everyone plays it and it gets nerfed. The synergies are absolutely bonkers x1000. Make sure to try to mulligan for Elise and if you get turn 5 "Make 5/5 copy" then it gets insane. Nuts play is Turn 4 tutor guy get a Dummy with reborn and 5/5 that for double reborns.

Zeph isn't played for the burn he gives like 60% of the time because random bits of damage are usually so mana inefficient and useless that the other guy is going to stabilize before they come into play, but instead because the deck doesn't run any other elementals to set up for Jug. Now that Jug got nerfed, you can probably safely swap him out for anything you can play onto board on turn three with a tribal tag that has decent stats. I wouldn't take Griftah since the deck is already kind of heavy for an aggro deck and not hard to brick your hand. Not running the two 1/1 ant spell seems insane to me if you're going to have such an aggressive curve with horn instead of frost strike, but runeslmao. I might unironically run zerglings to combo with the mosquito and generate corpses, but idk. This game is kind of just boring, there's just no strategy or interactions really. In the beginning every new expansion was fun because it was all so novel and the gameplay was fun since it was so simple. But now even though It's much more complex, with how many cards enter and leave your hand constantly, and all the different mechanics, it doesn't really feel like it made the gameplay more fun or strategic quite the opposite. Decks feel so similar to one another and archetypes feel fused together with how common and strong card draw/cycle/out of deck generations is. Aggro or control don't feel like themselves, in fact only combo kind of plays like actual combo but even those decks are a bit weird since they have certain tempo turns which they shouldn't have. Card draw being so strong and ubiquitous throws everything upside down as certain archetypes ,like aggro and tempo, which are balanced around low resources no longer have those weaknessess and now other archetypes also have to overcompensate somehow which makes them all feel chimeric. The original dev team clearly had the keys to how to run the car but they're all gone and these phonies have to hot wire it to start.

and it synergies with all sorts of minion bullshit and only rarely has negative effects from being a bunch of minion attacks
