Sunday funday, signed up for a gym, going to try to sweat out some pounds and help my diet.

I bought a 2200w psu, $950.
The stupid little things on the back that hold the 4+4 cpu power connectors together, holy fuck man. My board (gigabyte mc62-g40) places the 4+4 connectors right next to each other, back to back, and I had to sand them off. If that wasn't enough, the psu connects to the wall using a 15a plug. Which is not compatible with the 10a plug because of its wider ground. Sure, I'll just use one of the c13 10a cables I have laying around right? No, it's c19 on the psu side. Okay, then I'll just order an adapter. Well, the c19>c14 adapter came today. And the c19 side is rated for 15a 125v... we're a 240v country.

I tried Blue Archive with the PC release and it's just another gacha that made me appreciate CS' writing more. Both the main story and the side events in BA are bland with a lack of world building by comparison, and the wacky tone translates to a lack of coherency and consistency. And hell, the first few side stories in CS already gave us tear-jerkers with Eddie and backstory on characters and events like Mason, Jane, and Jake, but in BA the first several events are just random inconsequential shenanigans and swimsuits with no deeper meaning. Not sure if I'm supposed to still be waiting for it to get good but CS sure didn't take this long. And of course the gameplay is just nothing.

The whole point of that was a subversion of expectations. BA is a story about always overcoming adversity through the power of friendship and sensei's undying love for his students.
There aren't going to be edgy tragedies and death because those stories are a dime a dozen and BA wants to do something different.

No it's better than that, I felt the same way. Preconne really wasn't trying to say anything. BA at least dips its toe into the deep end. But only a toe and never more. The silly stories were way more fun in BA as well imo. And the silly stuff isn't just stuck in side stories. For me personally the best silly story is the make up work club which is part of the main story. I still think about it at least once a month and it's one of the few gacha stories I've read more than once.

I think they are talking about racing tournaments. I only played through the tutorial but it seems like you pick a character and then you are locked in with them for a while. You do various things that improve their stats and then have them do multiple races and I guess modifying them as you go along. At the end of it they get a permanent stat boost and there's usually some kind of reward.
Not sure if that's totally accurate or how it will work here though.

Right now dailies are piss easy. You can just sweep everything like in CS.

The Run aspect is you going through the roguelike mode beating events and thresholds to get higher scores, it goes through day by day with you training and doing the events. At certain days there's a battle you have to beat so you want to make sure your character is strong enough when it happens.
Depending on the support cards you use you get better skills and stats from their respective events. At the end you fight a boss then you get a Stella Archive with the notable stats you got throughout the run which then you can use on your other characters to further boost them.

You can do the run manually to get the best score or just sweep it to clear your daily and get an average stella.
From what i've seen, people had concerns about how long it would take for normal casual gameplay but there's plenty of QoL so you can just login and clear everything in a few minutes and move on if you feel like it or play hardcore on the roguelike mode to improve your Stellas.

There's also an afk grind option like in NIkke that hoards resources for you depending on your campaign progress that you can grab every 12 or so hours.

I don't get your point, you can build any character in any gacha and use them. But low rarity characters aren't going to be able to do the same thing as high rarity ones. Some don't even get the same amount of attacks and such like arknights only 6 star characters get 3 attacks.

Looks like they aren't doing any bullshit for the gacha. It's just straight up 2.5% SSR
no soft pity, no hard pity, no 50/50, no small print.

Every pull gives you a spark. You trade 200 sparks for the rate up.
The spark doesn't reset you just accumulate it and can spend it whenever. Just like in Nikke. Right now there's no limited characters.
So any new rateup just gets immediately thrown into the general pool after release. (might be wrong will have to wait)

You also get currency for SSR / SR rolls like in Nikke that is separate. You get like 5 or 10 from events. and you can then use it to get a random SR or SSR.

So far the game is an amalgamation of the following.

>Lore = Literally CounterSide
>Visuals = Blue Archive + Star Rail
>Core Gameplay = Umamusume Roguelite + Support card system
>Battle Gameplay = Epic Seven turn based + Counterside gear system
>Gacha = Literally Nikke Gacha
>PVE Grind and Progression = Nikke + Nikke AFK
>PVP Ranking and Modes = Epic Seven. Game already has Arena PvP + Live PvP + Draft PvP

Also character progression includes:
Main Level = The usual you just use EXP stuff
Talent Level = increases base stats + unlocks skills to gain on roguelite, uses up special mats
Gear = just like c:s / e7
Dupes = increases max level and max bond, plus levels up passives. Goes upto Dupe 7 with each dupe increasing atk def hp by 2%

You can reset your whole character for a small fee. So it will be like in Nikke where you can Sync your other characters to the level of your highest 5 characters.

I have a somewhat not so high end phone (Xiamo11tpro) and it was playable 60fps and everything, but the game stuttered a lot because it was loading shaders every time something new happened.
Every time i was about to watch a new character, or enemy or a new attack the game would stuttered hardcore.
