Every time technology advances and we get longer context and better coherence, I just come up with more convoluted plots and settings to then get frustrated at the AI for not following. I remember saying at one point that I would be thrilled and satisfied with 8k token context and couldn't imagine needing more. Assuming they get their shit together with AeR, it will certainly use the same base model. All those assistant models AI companies use are all derived from a base model (which is an autocomplete, next token predictor), that undergoes additional post-training to make it respond as the chatbots we're all familiar with. The pretraining (which creates the base model) is by far the most expensive and time consuming part of making AI models. The post-training is much, much, cheaper in comparison. Anlatan would develop their ERP chatbot in the same way, because doing it in any other way is nonsensical.

Decided to have 3 narrators using group chat in SillyTavern
Green is the flow, the default one that just continues what is currently happening (default AI behavior)
Red is the disruptor, it introduces new elements to the current scene, including people/creatures
Blue is the parallel, it describes a scene away from the current scene
It's going nicely so far, now I don't need to lead the AI too much anymore beyond what I put in the lore and which character/narrator I decided to call
