it does and you are weak but it's not true that you have no way to upgrade gear, gambling is legit and slamming with all your currency does work on average though they do need to drop more regals, vendoring everything doesn't give you enough. I will say that weapon/caster stick strength is the BIGGEST determining factor in how strong you feel, along with having a good debuff/payoff combo in your supports somewhere. I also think the skills are given to you way too late, they obviously all have level 1 variants so make them all available earlier at whatever character level you want Jonny. You should have access to all skills by level 30, not 60, same goes for supports. Tier 3s are where a lot of the good stuff is, don't hold out so long on dropping them.

bruh, my 4 link gas grenade clears packs on its own with corrosion, armour explode and bursting plague, drop a round and keep walking. my crossbow is 580dps with no +lvls and I can comfortably do tier 15s damage wise. I have Oil Grenade with maim to slow down charging shits and high velocity with added fire to eat armour break and make use of the oil fire exposure on bosses and tanky rares. So during clear I'm ONLY using gas grenades, for rares I MIGHT use oil grenade if it doesn't die after consuming armour break. Spamming all 3 of those things off cooldown also works though

Im not sure I have enough mana for determ. Also determ on the merc is better because you can stack determination buff effect implicits. Im somewhat confident that it will perform better than haste would. Plus vitality is totally crazy with the watchers eye mod. I probably wont be testing out any dps mercs for like a week anyways, im doing my level 100 grind now dude. And honestly i got 15m dps already, that seems to be more than enough. most crafting is making one side good and settling with the other side, pick whats most important or hardest to hit and focus on that side.
t1 suppression and chaos res are the hardest to hit so you focus on suffixes first. if you don't need a specific 3rd suffix, like reduced dmg from crits, you can just spam envy until you hit t1 suppression and then reroll the prefix until you are happy.

U basically reroll using eldritch currencies. And to reforge for the phys damage reduction which has really good odds. But thats a waste on that base I guess. Like honestly if you want chaos Rez you can just buy like a couple hundred essences and that will probably get you a decent 6mod item. But it wont be all t1 rolls. You definitely dont have enough currency to fracture global defenses but you have enough to try lol. You might get it. Like id probably just recombine something up, it’ll be better than a 25q base with less than t1.
