it does and you are weak but it's not true that you have no way to upgrade gear, gambling is legit and slamming with all your currency does work on average though they do need to drop more regals, vendoring everything doesn't give you enough. I will say that weapon/caster stick strength is the BIGGEST determining factor in how strong you feel, along with having a good debuff/payoff combo in your supports somewhere. I also think the skills are given to you way too late, they obviously all have level 1 variants so make them all available earlier at whatever character level you want Jonny. You should have access to all skills by level 30, not 60, same goes for supports. Tier 3s are where a lot of the good stuff is, don't hold out so long on dropping them.

bruh, my 4 link gas grenade clears packs on its own with corrosion, armour explode and bursting plague, drop a round and keep walking. my crossbow is 580dps with no +lvls and I can comfortably do tier 15s damage wise. I have Oil Grenade with maim to slow down charging shits and high velocity with added fire to eat armour break and make use of the oil fire exposure on bosses and tanky rares. So during clear I'm ONLY using gas grenades, for rares I MIGHT use oil grenade if it doesn't die after consuming armour break. Spamming all 3 of those things off cooldown also works though
