Aggro Abyss deck is filled with low cost, self-hurting cards with almost no draw source. This makes it possible to spam multiple units in the early game for quick face damage but they run out of resources around Turn 5, where they throw out and evo Aragavy.
If by that time you aren't dead yet then there isn't a single card that they can use to turn the board around.

This is not an issue, if the cards were not meant to be mixed then they would be separate classes. They're in the same class for a reason. Plus even when stealing the card it won't necessarily be as strong, Orchis tends to be stronger in puppet than artifact because they more often get to play an additional puppet that receives the buff from Orchis's effect

I just run Olivia. It's not terribly much card draw, but everything above 5pp in the deck generates a good amount of virtual card advantage. I get kind of pissed off at how easy Sword solves this problem with Amelia though. Dclimb Astaroth OTK is the one thing in this game that really truly upsets me. It's an uncounterable, uninteractive gambling victory condition Rune can pull out of its ass at any point from turn 10 onwards. It doesn't matter how well you played at any point in the game beforehand, if Rune gets to turn 10 and you have as much as a skeleton on field you might just get gambled to death. It's utter horseshit and means no control decks but rune are allowed to exist. Everyone else is relegated to aggro or midrange.

I'm back on Roach and winning most of my games. Against Rune you have to accept that you aren't getting turn 8 kills very often with Norman constantly healing and instead go for 20 burst damage all at once the turn before they can Satan Climb you. The turn before this I passed without playing a card, by the way.
