Yeah I don't know if other people just got lucky in the final phase because Kamoshida comboing people to death is 100% an issue even at level 60 with decently leveled cards. He can do 6-9k damage in a single turn if he picks one target to fuck up, and those aren't telegraphed attacks that take a turn to charge, he just does it. People saying "just guard lol" are talking about different, much easier phases and probably got good rng on the final one.

If you get ahold of Miyu, she'll help a lot with that final phase. She's great against bosses in general early on, giving you 1-2k value shields with some pretty good uptime. Very important for surviving major damage breakpoints like Kamoshida's ~6k double tap in the final phase.
