Resonace, is an upgraded version of the support mechanic. Support mechanic itself is simple, you just equip a unit on a unit and it gives it more stats.
For resonance you need to have
1. New ssr rarity resonance unit
2. Resonance support with resonance passive. Currently, only 48 units in the game have these passives, basically the last non-ssr version of every character. These passives are squad based right now, for example 31A overheals the unit at the start of battle. They also scale with lbs, the higher support's lb is, the bigger the effect.
3. Resonance unit and resonance support should have the same element, or you can't resonance them.
As of now, this whole resonace thing is very niche, you're either lucky with having the exact units you need for it, or a whale, or it won't be useful for you.

Pretty good, especially for wave battle, which I believe releases at the same time and arts battle if you care about that and don't want to infinite loop with bungo. For farming her setup is a lot faster than Inori SS2 but she's ST.

However she also gets hit hard from the nerfs. LB3 passives are always multiplicative, but Sumomo gets a large funnel instead. Normally this wouldn't matter because you can't give large funnel until Diva, so 1 large + 1 small would always be better than 30% damage anyways. But funnel, especially large, got nerfed into the ground, so now Sumomo's LB3 is not only worse because it has a lower multiplier than a multiplicative 30%, you can just give a large funnel through Diva anyways, making it so unless you're farming her LB3 doesn't even exist.

I don't think there's much of a point in using Maria when you have Adel SS2, just let Adel be both the blaster and main DPS. Then you can drop Yunyun since you don't really need her funnel anymore... or keep Yunyun for the SP generation and large attack up while dropping Bungo and using Amon orbs for ice def down (perma def down is not huge, especially on an LB0 unit).

And now since you've freed up two slots you can add some actual defense so you don't die instantly in serious content (Aoi, Yanagi, whatever), and a debuffer with fragile because otherwise you're missing a ton of damage.

its about 50/50, the developers fucked up big time but they are releasing all the emergency "we fucked up banners". HBR has never ever been a gameplay gacha though so even if the gameplayfags leave the game could be just fine.
