rune had to adopt an entirely new package while removing cards like destroyers just to not die in the current meta. the only thing that's fundamentally changed in regards to rune is that the artifact portal matchup went from being a lost cause to being favorable.

decks are going more defensive in general because odin is fucking broken as shit and aggro abyss is insane. those are the 2 meta warping aspects. if rune was that bad you would see forest everywhere for free wins, but sword is even more common. it's by far the most played and most popular deck with very high winrates. i'm not even trying to downplay rune here, rune is busted as shit too but fucking swordbabs acting like they aren't warping the meta because they now have access to 12 to 14 more damage to set up albert lethals is fucking retarded.

Control Blood is worth discussing since the assumption at first was that Medusa kills her but it turns out that you can just slow down on other earthrite cards once you recognize the match up and build 10 stacks. Mudan will still kill her but it requires Christmas hands and if they were going to get that lucky and burn 3 cards on her they probably should've just put that high roll into winning the game instead.

There's no justifiable reason why they made her this clunky and bad. She should shoot once at base, and shoot one additional time for each amulet on your board. Up to 5 times is fair and balanced for the requirement compared to the shit other crafts get for doing nothing, and it would have actually made her more viable late. Once it gets going though you shit on most Midrange and Control decks. Think of it as Rune with even more gambling.

Yes. Sword would be dishonest if it had healing. Dragon is probably the next closest to being dishonest next expansion based on how much fish shit they get.

Rune and portal have way too much healing and dont sacrifice nearly enough for it. Healing should be used to narrowly escape death not to just having two and a half healthbars
