Don't worry, they'll be adding story mode difficulty soon. As much as I like this game it's extremely greedy to make it impossible to progress without getting 5 MLB SSRs and breaking the wall, you get there eventually if you keep playing every day, but it's extremely unfriendly to newcomers and the game will die if they don't bring in new players.

I don't think any other gacha game I've played has gated the story in such an obvious "pay money or wait months to continue" way. So I'm glad they're finally backing off on it.
