You'll end up with a surplus of prism gems as you farm for the elemental stones of the megucas you're raising, but with a lack of prism stones, so I wouldn't recommend going for prism gems in the shops early on for a quick magic level increase.
Once you unlock them don't be scared of using your cubes if you're lacking in QP to raise your megucas either, you'll get more than enough.
Also, getting the free trial for the exedra passes doubles your enhancement quests drops for a month.
You'll find more info about enhancement quest materials on the 2nd link in the OP in the Upgrade & Costs tab.

You can go to main quests and tap/click on the rank at the top of the screen to see which rank unlocks that enhancement quest difficulty and work towards that in battler mode.

I had an awful dream about some country's tyrant wanting me to work for him and his tyrant wife and I didn't have the option to refuse, and I joined a group of warrior girls training to become elites, but then I screw up something I'm supposed to do from memory and it makes them look bad and so
the tyrants force me to choose between having my clit removed, or losing my position and just being a piece of meat for free use who could wander and help the other screw up girls. The tyrant man was going to chose the first option for me but I had gotten well liked by a lot of the warrior girls and they protested on my behalf, so I became a status less free use piece of trash instead. On the bright side I could comfort the lonely girls and tutor the girls struggling to pass their combat exams, but on the other hand I had no authority to influence my situation where I wasn't wanted around but couldn't leave.
