>>532263103 (OP)I see value in both the law and chaos endings of SMT V, but holy fuck are both neutral endings absolute shit
>>532263367>is smt 1 giving you any trouble?macca grinding is annoying. i just used the exploit since grinding for macca is stupid since you don't even get XP because of how level scaling works.
>what was the hardest part?I remember Ginza/Police Station kinda pissing me off, but that's mostly because of the status effects spam
>what made you pick X alignment?I wanted either Neutral or Chaos but went fuck it im pretty close to neutral so neutral we go.
>are you planning on ever trying out one of the other versions?Maybe. I was looking at VX but heard the balancing issues was a problem.
>what are your favorite demons in smt 1?Anyone with Tarukaja for obvious reasons. unga bunga damage
>>532264141True neutral has far more emotional pull than any ending in the series. Tragic doesn't mean bad. If anything, CoV law and chaos are too feel good, especially law.
>>532264141For a while I've felt like the narration shits on the V law ending for no reason, with the implication there will be no progress (even though you aren't taking over as an emperor or anything, just mantaining everything from the shadows), but looking back, the neutral ending is even worse, with the narration outright saying destroying the throne is useless. Obviously it's all set up because there's a "True Neutral", but the True Neutral ending goes for something completely different. They could have had amore satisfying standard neutral ending if they just left things more open regarding the Throne's destruction rather than deliberately telling the player it's useless to push them for another Neutral Ending that actually goes for something completely different with all demons being erased.
Killed arachne ngl I gameovered alot to her, status is annoying. Does anyone know where I can get stun bullets?
>>532263367Money is hard to get, I'm broke as fuck and don't have enough money to recruit demons. I need to the exploit at some point...
>Favorite DemonIt's hard in smt 1 because alot of demon sprites are re-used but Loki I guess?
>>532265162It’s kind of the opposite of SMT 1 neutral, where you see value in both, in this one you see value in neither and you deny two fundamental aspects of reality but what for? For a narcissistic humanity that neither respects the environment or others? For the freedom to choose its own future? A future in which we exploit others, and we drive ourselves into our doom? If neutral is tiferet then I will say that the neutral ending of SMT V best encapsulates the qilphothic side of tiferet, arrogance and narcissism
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVV_uqTVoww
Made me reflect a lot on law and chaos in these games
Gabriel... doesn't look good...
>>532270931>same gimmick than Arioch
>>532265162>with the implication there will be no progress Progress to what? The human demon coexist thing?
>>532271982The narrator complains about the law ending rejecting the " infinite possibilities of humanity" and keeping the "old order", even though it's just bringing back everyone who died unaware of the tragedies, and the mc overseeing things from the shadows like the God of Law did for humans and angels, keeping the "older order" - even though the old order still allowed humanity to get to modern age. Funny thing is that you're basically doing the same thing in True Neutral, just by yourself since you eliminate all other demons, and then restore Tokyo with everyone being unaware of the battle just like in Law. Tao/Vengeance Law at least has the whole "granting everyone's wishes" to clearly differentiate how things would be different from that point on compared to the old world.
But like I said, it's nothing compared to the standard neutral one going on about the battle continuing, and although humanity wins and survive in the end against the demons with the mc's help there are uncountable losses of life and all this while stating in the scene before that the throne will eventually return, so even the reason for all the deaths doesn't really stick.
>the ds games STILL haven't gotten a port in the year of 2025
PLEASE DADDY ATLUS, I HATE HOW DS GAMES LOOK WHEN YOU EMULATE THEM AND IF ETRIAN ODYSSEY CAN HAVE IT WHY CAN'T WE.
I DONT WANT TO DOWNLOAD MELONDS AND AZAHAR AGAIN, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
>>532265135>CoV Chaos felt too feel goodI'm curious in what you see in the ending because while I have my own take that does put it firmly 'feels good', it is on the back of seeing the game itself feeling confused on what its supposed to be (1).
>1What is the void world we supposedly make? I know its disconnected of the empyrean and of the "Void" before the throne but with how the game treats the void, that doesn't mean much. The void is both "returning it to nothingness" and also quantifiable existence (Lucifer demon haunt). I view it as you and Yoko having the freedom to paint it as you both believe best, let your fanfiction be manifest without a Mandala System forcing a reset.
>True neutralI found it as an oddly hopeless ending, admitting when all options are given this world is the best we can ever hope for. Though I also do have a optimist view of Chaos (no illusion that even if there is a paradise of human/demon coexistence to be realized, the path is very likely to not be pretty and take iterations).

>>532263367And done.
I didn't plan on spending most of my yearlyvacation playing this game but at least I liked it.
>is smt 1 giving you any trouble?Nope, it's probably the easiest Atlus game I played.
>what was the hardest part?Ginza, Purski and Oni Jorou random encounters don't fuck around and it's also where I started to feel the insane grind for money.
>what made you pick X alignment?I went for Neutral because it had the most content/boss battle and the game give me no real reason to side with Law or Chaos.
I remember an NPC saying that Messian and Gaean battling each other is only making things worse for everyone and I would agree.
>are you planning on ever trying out one of the other versions?Nope, I played he PS1 version and while I enjoyed it, I wouldn't replay the game because of the insane encounter rate, the insane shop prices and it would still need a lot of QoL.
FFS, the cathedral forced me to go back and fuse a Throne again solely for Estoma.
I would play a remake but I don't believe it can be made nowadays.
>what are your favorite demons in smt 1?Since my fish wife isn't there and won't be before a long while, I went for bird and chose Harpy, I did dislike how you can't keep your favorite around but it was my first time playing and had I knew that the game was this easy, I would have kept her around to the end.
But in term of pure utility, anyone with attack and defense buffs/debuffs, Tam Lin and Jikokuten pretty much carried the entire end game since there's no way to dispell them.
>>532263367>>532282974Now some random thought in no particular order:
You quickly notice that physical/gun attacks are the way to go, there's no easy way to replenish mana in a dungeon so there's another incentive to focus on physical attacks.
Ice and Elec spells are beyond broken and you can very much stunlock any boss immune to them and there's only an handful of them.
Most things can be autoed, which is not necessarily a bad thing given the insane encounter rate and Estoma is rare.
Fusion doesn't transfer skills so a demon's worth is entirely determined by what skill it can use by default and their HP and defense stats, attack is barely a factor because the MC alone can outdamage the rest of your team by himself and resistances barely matter since you can facetank everything (except Mudo/Hama) as long as you have enough HP and/or defense, this is true for your demons and even truer for the MC.
Element fusion break the game harder than in any of the other SMT I played and triple fusion is dogshit.
A lot of the higher level demons have unique and cool sprites when many demons are just recolors but you don't really have a reason to grind that much just to fuse them. I mean, I fused a Dagon because I could and he did nothing but normal attacks against Michael, I could have used Tarunda instead but never actually felt the need to do so.
I liked the bromance between the MC and both alignment reps but the beginning is a bit... far-fetched ?
Correct me if I'm wrong but they never met each other before IRL and when they do meet, they go "hey, I met you in that dream I had" and act like they were BFF since forever.
They don't have a lot of lines together either, just the bare minimum to make it work in the context of the game: knowing that you have people you can trust from the bottom of your ~dream~ soul and that the feeling is mutual would probably be very nice in an apocalyptic setting.
>>532277651Mermaid.
>>532282974>>532283257And last but not least, I wanted to thank anon again for the money trick, it saved me a lot of time doing mindless grinding for a game that really doesn't need it.
>>532274638Based on what dialog you can scrape together to fully explain CoV chaos, the MC is basically taking over the role Tiamat was going to have before she was killed. It makes sense this is the case because it's one sea god replacing another essentially. And Tiamat worked with Apsu in order to create the world, a fresh water god, and Susano-o also represents the rising river waters that would help grow rice fields. The Nahobino is two people as it is so it all just fits together perfectly. That being the case all the water imagery is tied into the void as well. Going back to SJ where the race name for Tehom was first used, the term "mother of the void" was written in Japanese to imply the the space where the ocean meets the horizon. It's like saying where the ocean begins you will also find the "void". Lucifer also calls the chaos about to come a "rolling sea" in the chaos ending.
I don't believe this implies the Nahobino's fate will end up like Tiamat though. Obviously he's much stronger so if his own creations try to kill him, he won't lose. Bigger problems arise from the fact that he may never stop fighting which Goko pretty much says flat out in his quest. And Mastema says that humans are going to wander the earth like tormented ghosts which would give them cause to rebel and want the Nahobino dead in order to bring back the throne system (presumably). I don't know how miserable this would make the Nahobino though, if at all because he doesn't exactly hate fighting and he never doubts whatever path he chooses in every other ending.
>>532283257>any boss not immune to them and there's only an handful of them.Fixed.

The titular "Megami Tensei" / heroine of SMT6 will be a 7 year old girl
Now that I think about it, is there any SMT game that's law biased?
Megami Tensei 2: COMPLETE
My suspicions about the identity of satan proved to be correct and with the help of Lucifer we open a can of whoop-ass on him after navigating a very easy dungeon, then beat god senseless as is tradition in jrpgs.
He tells us that we have destroyed but a shard of Him, and tells us that this isn't over promising to enact judgement upon all of mankind one day.
We return home, all of the residents of the shelter leaving for good. Now the demons are gone they too can partake in the blessings of an irradiated hellscape with limited food resources and little available housing for those who don't immediately die of cancer.

It's a demon around level 50 though, so you might be lower level than necessary to fuse it when you get to that quest.
>>532316587Base/Creation SMTV was supposed to be law centered according to the creators, while Vengeance is more Chaos focused... But, yeah, it doesn't really feel 'biased' for law.
>>532263367i think it's hardest when you first get to the future.
i picked neutral because i thought the law and chaos sides' constant shitflinging was the real problem. and they manipulated my friends so fuck them.
>different versionprobably. sometime down the line though.
>demonsi like most dragon/snake/beast demons for their designs.
also, the cathedral is way too big and kinda boring to explore. it's "exciting" at the same time because it's the end of the game and i love my epic conclusions, but the exploration itself is boring for that dungeon.
>>532311320>i like the dream sequence for how surreal and unique it is.Don't get me wrong, I think the dream sequence and how it foreshadow the fate of the characters on the Neutral path is the best scene of the game.
The bromance is very nice too, you have Law and Chaos Hero arguing near the heart of the Cathedral but they never attack each other despite one being the worst enemy of the other's faction, they still believe in some way that things can be resolved without fighting or at least by a third party (the MC).
We also know that Chaos Hero is the of the resentful kind thanks to Ozawa and it's one of the reason why he sought power (the other being freedom) but when you do kill him, he actually doesn't mind and even call the whole journey a "nice dream", which is both a throwback to the dream sequence and a sign that he really valued his friends above even power.
>>532354178Unlock the quest that tells you to kill her by advancing the story then she will randomly appear in the Dark realms.
Just hang in Dark Tsukudo-Cho for 10 min.
Be advised that the first thing she will do is fleeing so you need to use an elemental spell with Raidou ASAP to stun her.
>>532360630>callbackdude, that's another reason i love the dream sequence so much. i was just talking about that 2 threads ago.
also, chaos hero easily accepting being killed fits so well. rule of power and all.
i feel bad for law hero though because he just gets sad after realizing he was manipulated.
chaos hero just gets happy though. he's happy with everything he got to experience even if his path led to his undoing. it feels melancholic.
i also do think the demon on top of chaos hero was a succubus, namely, lilith.
but yeah, the way smt 1 handles its surreal premonitions is really nice.
i do kinda wish there were more party interactions though but i guess that's what the side material is for.
What if Raidou Remaster addin't contemporary comments replacing the SMT1 references in the corridor, while having even more explicit SMT1/2 references in the DLC is because they're working on a SMT 1/2 remake that takes place in modern day rather than the 90s?
>>532361062>i was just talking about that 2 threads ago.I know, there's too many comments and posts I found myself agreeing with that I just can't list/recall them all, which is yet another reason that made me enjoy this playthrough with everyone.
It was comfy.
Won't be able to join the next /smtg/ play unless it happens next year because I'm going back to being a wagie next week and I actually paused 2 games I was already playing just for this.
>i do kinda wish there were more party interactions though but i guess that's what the side material is for.If a remake were to happen (I don't believe it will but you never know), I hope all the stuff from the side material in integrated directly in the game for a complete and seamless experience.

sorry to hear about your work being really busy.
i hope you get more freedom someday.
it could still be fun to see your thoughts if you still want to just comment on things for the next play event.
a remake could happen since atlus has been remaking their games but it would likely be far off.
would be cool to see if they try to implement cool things from all the different versions and then some.
but i feel like they'd fuck up the artstyle or atmosphere in some way. that tends to be the case with their remakes/remasters.
>>532361335>fans dogpile anyone who criticizes it>critics stay quiet3rd line and bullshit already.
>>532361090They're never doing a SMT 1/2 remake. Like with Persona, SMT 3 will get the remake treatment first since there's already tons of assets to do one thanks to SMT V. Also after said SMT 3 remake, they'll do IV & IVA remakes next since they're more popular entries + pre-existing assets they can use(The Dagda model for example) + most of the current SMT staff began with those two games, so there's more of a push to remake them instead of SMT 1 and 2.
Kaya acting sweet and demure then talking about how we need to reshape the world before doing a sick kickflip into grinding on a modern car on her skateboard
>>532361619i'll add that it's kinda funny how law hero's and chaos hero's reactions change between the dream and the end.
law hero is happy you saved him in the dream but upset at the end in reality.
chaos hero gets upset you woke him up in the dream but gets happy at the end in reality.
the reactions get reversed.
but i guess maybe it's because in reality, you didn't really save law hero from being a sacrifice like you did in the dream.
and you didn't wake chaos hero up from his good dream in reality at the end like you did in the dream at the beginning.
and in your dream, you're all still traveling together...
going back to how things were and being friends again really does feel like something only possible in a dream.
or maybe you could argue you still did save them in reality too by ending the people they became because others manipulated them.
if you enact neutral, law hero is still a sacrifice but god doesn't get to make anything of it so could be like since you end him as the messiah, you end him as a sacrificial figure.
and you "wake up" chaos hero from his good dream of gaining power and friends.
but i'm not sure the reversed reactions really make sense that way unless you just say the dream was a more twisted version of reality so some parts are obviously going to be off. especially with continuing to travel with your friends.
and the persepective being the exact opposite, i.e. meeting for the first time vs. seeing for the last time.
>>532364131IV has far too many demons for them to make it wholly 3D unless they start using Dx2's assets which isn't happening.

Add the Raidou ones (including unplayble ones that can be made into playable demons, like zombie cops which are enemy-only in Raidou but demons in SMTIV) and the few ones that are in P3R and P5R but aren't in SMTVV (like Qitian Dasheng) and you can get close. P3R had some replacements already too.
The ones they'd really need to recreate are the story relevant ones by the guest designers. It could be a good chance to dump the guest designs too if there are issues with them.

Dx2 is adding Raidou to its roster
>>532368736I mean, even Apocalypse has less demons than SMTIV, since they only added one Kaneko demon, and cut all guest demons that didn't get new art, while not adding even half of the amount of guest demons SMTIV had in new demons.
>>532326752That's really cute, anon! I love how Nue's is looking up at Lilim and Preta is standing on top of an icon.
>>532369274fATLUSbros...we need a new third pillar...
>>532372171It's still selling better than SMT. I guess what might happen is them sending the team back to do Persona though, but I'd think they'd at least try an updated rerelease before like usual.
>>532368756>decide not to add human characters from the series to the gacha for whatever reason>randomly start doing it after the gacha is mostly deadreally makes me think
>>532372697Well the human characters actually started showing up after a change in director
>>532372821I suppose that makes more sense. They should change directors for any game Ishida might be working on too for an easy W.
>>532369274>>532372567Atlus is pretty happy with 2 million sales? Don't know why that's beng considered low for them.
>>532373330retards think everything that doesn't sell P4/P5 numbers is a flop
>>532372567what I don't understand is why ATLUS is pretending that cheaply remaking the nusona games isn't already their third pillar
>>532367517There are major bosses like Xi Wangmu who only have a Dx2 model.
I normally hate remakes but IV with all the improvements from Apocalypse without the dogshit everything else would be a dream come true.
>>532373605It still wouldn't fix the fact that the game's second half is non-existent. And that the true final boss is DLC
>>532373806It's not the "2nd half," more like just the end-game. Everything is fine, and things are actually looking up when you go to the alternate Tokyos... until you get to the route locks and then you get a rushed set up for your faction and no cutscenes or set up for the enemies at all, who are just standing there waiting to die, even though the npc dialogue claims a huge war between the forces if law and chaos is happening. It really shouldn't be hard to add some boss battles and urgency there. Although I guess the way Atlus works all that would remain the same and we'd actually get some new girl leading to a fifth ending.
And past Masakado is just an extra boss. Facing him has nothing to do with the story since outside of the DLC no one mentions someone appearing out of nowhere to stop him, they mention a guy they knew that sacrifices himself alongside Masakado to create the ceiling (and it's not even canon in Apocalypse either, where we outright see the flashback with no time traveling Flynn anywhere).
well bros we had a good run
how the hell am I supposed to make it back to Ginza without a map
>>532376001Can always map out the route beforehand
>>532376552true
I wonder how much content I can still access before I chop off my arm. I already killed Apollyon and apparently I could have waited until later to do that.
also is LOSARM before or after the halfway point of the game?
>/smtg/-going-one-thread-without-SEETHING-over-more-popular-ATLUS-IPs Challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
>>532368756Oh no, tempting... but its mobaslop and I know better than to play a gacha later into its lifespan.
>>532360454It's because the act of creation is law aligned.
May be weird, but playing the snes megaten games made me appreciate nocturne more, when I beat SMT1 I'm replaying that next.
>>532385589I played Nocturne after 1&2. I like it, but I miss the magnetite system. Why does it even give you the option to be solo if there's no consequence for a full party?
>>532369274Metaphlop: Rebombtazio
I don't understand /smtg/s beef with Metaphor. Yeah Soejima sucks as a character designer now but everything else was fun.
>>532386834I suppose it's a thematic choice, demons need magnetite to survive in the real world but the vortex world is inherently supernatural. It would be cool if there was a magatsuhi mechanic, since it's essentialy magnetite's replacement.
>>532390129>Soejima sucks as a character designer nowStill far better than anyone else at Atlus.
>>532391353how could you say that after the gem that is DAZAI
at this point I didn't think I can trust ATLUS to do anything right
They couldn't even properly remaster their shittiest PS2 game, YHVH knows what they would do with DDSaga remaster or even a Nocturne remake
More people need to play SMT1 and 2 so they can realise how truly derivative IV really is.
It is no exaggeration to say that 85% of that game is just SMT1 and 2 plotpoints (5% are strange journey references, and the remaining 10% is the original concepts)
>>532394049Well if raidou remastered is anything to go by, Atlus could just shove more V stuff into these games, and not just references, since V has MF's multiverse hopping like damn DC characters, were in for some prime silly shit if Nocturne ever gets a remake.
>>532322586>Overclockedruined the characters.
>>532395953>5% are strange journey referencesthe statue of Mem Aleph and...?
It even extends to stuff you might not realise right away, like the fact that tayama and his hold over tokyo and the national defense divinities are just ozawa and his control over shinjuku and take-minazuchi turned up to 11.
oh my YHVH, atlus ripped off their own games
>>532396641>were in for some prime silly shit if Nocturne ever gets a remake.I would fully expect it to be like the FF7 "Remake" where it starts off similar and then derails. Nahobino showing up randomly to push your shit in and such
>>532368756This will make more money than the sales of the game.
>>532402531I really hate that Naoya became a victim of God's plan instead of just being a really spiteful, jealous but extremely smart person who simply refuses to atone because he believes that he wasn't in the wrong. It might be a small detail, but it softens his personality way too much, whereas in the original scenario he never really breaks his manipulative facade except in the Law route where he went completely insane.
Another thing is that in the original, above everything else, he was characterized by his obsession with God/YHVH. Even in Gin's ending he says that he will still continue scheming. The 8th days shifted his priorities way too much. Considering how spiteful and unstable he was in the original, it's jarring how gentle he is in comparison when he backs down and says that he'll watch over the protagonist. Or when the others say that he let the protagonist make his own choice when the whole point of his fight before summoning Babel in the Law route was to fucking kill you so you wouldn't reach Babel.
>>532390129I don’t have a problem with it. I personally think it could benefit from another region and romance but that’s just me
Right now I'm fairly sure I'm chaos aligned from healing I did in SMT1 right after meeting Gotou. I'm on my way to meet Thorman. If I'm attempting neutral, would the right move be to side with Thorman to push myself into neutral or will that push me too far into law? Also I found the other kidnapped girls law hero couldn't save, is it possible to meet up with where the chaos hero was headed before I mess around with the nukes or will that come later anyway?
AHHHHH WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME I HAD TO HAVE $5000 MACCA TO FIX MY LOSARM STATUS
>>532411748You can check your alignment the usual way on the world map.
And if you're really chaos aligned, you can try to summon a law aligned demon in your party, he will refuse.
>>532412057I pretty sure I am because I tried to talk to an angel and she wouldn't speak to me.
>>532412270They won't talk to Neutral aligned character either so don't worry.
>>532412270Angel is Light/Law, so she'll refuse to talk to you regardless of alignment. Light and Dark demons must be recruited through fusion or through the story.

>>532411748i'm not entirely sure how much it matters if you only care about doing the neutral route and not the summonable demons.
i was chaos aligned throughout nearly the whole game and i still got in the neutral route because i killed both echidna and haniel then talked to the old guy under ginza to get to the cathedral.
idk if it's because i wasn't super far into the chaos spectrum or something or if it's just because it's more lenient on the ps1 version or if it was really always that easy to get neutral.
I think they should make more games like IF... (and sorta persona 1 to a lesser degree) where you have a choice of various partners right at the start and your choice determines the one partner you carry with you through the whole game
>>532364131What would there even be there to change in an SMT 3 remake? With persona 3 everything looked chibi so a remake is justified, but a SMT 3 remake would look the same. Raidou basically got remade, but even that got remade into something more like a remaster
>>532429763i agree but not specifically for the partner system.
>>532413727Kind of ironic that western magic is based around froming relationships with those that fall under light-law and dark-chaos
I'd like to draw a comparison between SMTVV and MT2 for a moment. And no, it's not the desert netherworld setting, it's the sense of adventure within the apocalypse that no other games in the series do.
Both games start with a feeling of hopelessness and confinement. In VV's case it's with the humdrum of every day life along with the overwhelming threat of being killed with all the mass murders going on you're told about. In MT2 you're told about the nukes and the boring humdrum of being confined to your very cramped bomb shelter with your only entertainment being computer games all day. Your life is structured and boring. Then suddenly demons are thrust in front of you, in MT2 it's Pazuzu invading your game, and in VV it's the tunnel collapse. The netherworld is meant to feel unsafe of course, but it's liberating. For the first time in MT2 you leave your bomb shelter to explore the unknown and are told you're the chosen one. In VV you become the Nahobino and explore looking for a way back home. And inevitably as you unravel the mysteries of the world you've been trust into, you play the role of the hero trying to save the world. You engage in experiences you never would have had otherwise. In other games you lose that sense of adventure to the point where I'm surprised it took so long to get that feeling back. Most of the games since SMT1 focus on ideology and general hopelessness. You are not there for an adventure and you are not the hero. Demons are dangerous tools with nothing to ground them. In MT2 and VV you get to look into their daily lives and even fulfill their quirky requests and explore the strange landscape they call home. And although MT2 sends you on a far more wild ride, like getting swallowed by a demon, getting your arm bitten off, etc VV tries to send you on a strange ride as well meeting giant demons and engaging in their lives and the like.
I hope I'm not the only one who gets how I feel about this but it's why I love both games so much.
>>532429769>What would there even be there to change in an SMT 3 remake? They would slightly change the plot and add a new route a la SJR, obviously (so Maniax part 2)
>>532432314What new ending could they even add.
TDE is just too popular to the point it overshadowed every other ending combined.
>>532428920Who you kill locks your alignment, you can usually get whatever ending you want for that reason,.but yes, if you're too far into one alignment you either won't get to refuse Echidna or she'll attack you immediately.
>>532265162The point isn’t that there isn’t progress, it’s that all the issues in the world are ignored and everyone pretends it’s a utopia and stuff like that. Like Kresnik going on about how the poors should know their place in Vengeance in his conflict with Kudlak. People just ignore the problems because blissful ignorance is easier.
>>532348249Fake news

Is there something to that or are slimes literal garbage demons with no value whatsoever?

>>532445228Huh, that's very tame for a Law ending.
>>532450421It also fits with Abdiel and Dazai who are so in love with the concept of God that they can’t accept he ever made mistakes.
Though it’s definitely smarter than what their actual plan was, which is just stand around killing Nahobino’s forever hoping God will respawn and then everything gets fixed.
