it was already more catastrophic last year when guild banks got converted and a ton of them lost almost all or 100% of their items, blizzard went silent for 2 months then announced they restored what they could which in some cases was literally a handful of items for banks that had hundreds prior. quality control is no longer a thing so they're doing it again, sort of like how 11.1 launched with a bug that completely deleted your character's quest history when you clicked the button to stop taking drive jobs in undermine. i'm half expecting an incident in the next year where characters are getting permanently deleted and all they do is have their outsourced indians chatgpt out diversions to tickets submitted

During the BFA prepatch, Blizzard didn't give the Alliance what it had long wanted (a proper battle for Lordaeron), but instead gave the Horde something it didn't need (blame for genocide), almost destroying the faction itself.

In general, I am still convinced that BFA was originally planned to begin with the Alliance's attack on Lordaeron. This is what we were being prepared for with WOTLK. This is what Before the Storm could have preceded. And this is what Metzen was conceptualizing before he departed. Even the BFA cinematic doesn't mention Teldrassil at all (if we don't count the ones that came out later) or anything like that (and it's supposed to be one of the longest things in production).
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I think that's how it happened. They needed to start a war. Everything was being prepared for the Alliance to attack Lordaeron, but how could the Alliance attack when their leader was Anduin? They couldn't ruin that character, even if he had some significant reason to attack. And so Afrasiabi, with his love of unexpected huge events, began to push his idea with Teldrassil.
Of course, there are many contradictions in all this, but I think that's roughly how it happened. Moreover, Afrasiabi was even happy to destroy Sylvanas' character.

That isn't really what's happened, though. What HAS happened is that the higher-ups in the factions have established a degree of rapport. But the factions themselves still have friction at times and in places. They're capable of working together, they can share a drink over some parts of their shared history, but, like England and Ireland, they're never going to be all hugs and kisses.

I still think open faction war done properly could be pretty cool, but Blizzard refuses to actually commit. They've always had that issue. Burn Stormwind to the ground, have consequences for it, and then show us the rebuilding afterward. Genocide the entire city of Thunderbluff, make irredeemable villains in the process, don't leave a grey area. Move character actions and ideals with that in mind going forward. They just need to commit. They move characters like Tyrande and Genn into an aggressive roll, and then immediately back off from it to the point they look schizophrenic. Jaina is a great example of that. They need to just tell a fucking STORY.

No I'm not coming back to WoW anytime soon, probably ever. Too gay, too furry, too childish, too safe, too onions, too female. None of the gameplay elements make up the difference for me. The writing is too cringe and the way they talk in every voiced cutscene it's like every line of dialogue is an epic one-liner they're trying to sound cool saying so it's said... very... slow. The language used is on a 5th grade level because the playerbase would fail to understand it otherwise.

Oh and the modding scene is basically non-existent. Last I checked you can't commission anything, you can't make something yourself without using a copy of 2016 blender because the addon for WoW models for Blender was never updated, and you're forced to settle for scraps from chinese modders.

Nobody wants this. There's a segment of the playerbase who have, at times, enjoyed the idea of conflict with the other half of the playerbase. Complete global war is not some clear through line story that makes complete sense and is only held back because a few catmoms would be upset. The average player, as shown by BfA, is completely and utterly ambivalent to faction conflict at best. Even at the HEIGHT of the narrative allowing you to experience pointlessly and retardedly slaughter NPCs of the opposite faction the majority of positive buzz in that regard were people going "I love being in the murder ball in Nazjatar and slaughtering Horde players". You'd have to rip out the last twenty years of the game (which they did for BfA) and make every single character a braindead retard (which they did for BfA) to justify a faction conflict and then your end result is what? You do some calculated 50:50 in randomly nuking capital cities that nobody gives a shit about because that had "stakes"? Nobody cares.

The only magical elements warrior has is fire and lightning, which in fantasy can both be considered physical generated power. Fire comes from your rage, the fire inside you, your rage burns so hot and generates so much body heat you generate fire in your attacks. Lightning is also a hot element and in fantasy is often attached to fire related power, it can considered a step above regular fire in that your power and heat is so condensed combined with your force that it manifests into lightning.

You have to think about it in terms of fantasy or anime like DBZ or naruto where in this world everyone has an inner life force that they manipulate into magic, and warriors are like rock lee where you don't have the ability to manipulate it into magic but it can manifest itself through physicality.

Revendreth was going to get anyone with even the slightest possibility of redemption, and you could end up in the Maw from Revendreth if you were determined enough to fight against your own redemption. J'lor then fucked things up.

Install an auto key presser (Auto Keyboard by MurGee.com) or use your keyboard program (Logitech has one) and make it press the bind of your macro every 1000ms, then you can go afk while the other raid members kill the mobs for you.
Don't forget to use the potion, can also macro /use [@player] Prototype Auto-Advertiser and use auto clicker in a 5min countdown.
