I don't know if you guys were old enough to remember it but waaaaaay back when, sometime around Goobergate (not related to actual Goobergate, just same time period), there was a game that was constantly brought up for shitposting. It was a game made by an artist as their attempt to make artistic video games. But there was basically no gameplay. It was just one long narrated cutscene of an old woman at a park bench or something about how life sucks. I think the way it was published was that there was a free version and a $10 paid premium version. The story and everything about both versions were about 99% identical. The only difference was that in the PREMIUM version, there was a 10% chance the old woman slumps over and dies right before the credits roll. That's it. You can tell why this game kept getting brought up as shitpost bait.

Some of the many questions that kept getting asked was "what makes this worth $10?" and "why is this considered art?" I don't think the artist ever explained herself, just called the Goobergabbers who bitched her out philistines on Twitter for not understanding why the $10 version is real art or whatever. After a while, I read one take from an Anon that I think made perfect sense (paraphrased):

So when I see you guys complaining about Nasu and her inane gimmick nodes, I get reminded of that quote. Nasu wants to tell a story her way, and to have a fight scene play out her way. So she takes away your choices in every way possible, and forces you to play it one specific way.

I'd argue that artists can make something regarded as artistic or kino with satisfying experience, as in you don't need to handicap the people enjoying your art in this case. Solomon ending, Camelot, or LB5 to name few were regarded as kino, without any cancerous restrictions.
This is also a mobile game that's made with salarymen in mind; a game that you can play while you're commuting after a gruelling work. There's no point of implementing a frustrating gameplay in your game.
But then again, I'd also argue that ultimately you can stop playing the game if it no longer suits you. Kind of foolish for me desu, hoping that things would just stop being frustrating or cancerous.

They're fundamentally incompatible. They only teamed up in the story because Oberon lied about his goal and tricked everyone into thinking that his goal was to overthrow Morgan.
Oberon can't be reasoned with either. The whole theme of the story is that every Fae is a literal slave to their base nature. The average Fae is prone to cruelty and sadism. Baobhan Sith is prone to extreme naivety that has led to her being repeatedly tricked, tortured, and murdered. Barghest's nature is to destroy everything and cannibalize everything in sight. And Oberon has a dual nature due to being a combination of two fae: Oberon the liar, and Vortigern, the destroyer of Britain. The tragedy of each fae is that they must follow their nature even if they despise it and want to reject it.
