I found new appreciation for Fighter(Priests). Sure they are less robust than Fighter(Knight) or less killy than Fighter(Thief) but they have amazing utility. Its like carrying few extra bags full of potions and scrolls.

Any of the sellable rewards if you haven't done them in a month(twin pearls from abyss 2 gwo,poltergeist request,doll request[give no dolls], abyss 3 gwo faction that gives it,expedition to clear the lower levels request). The last castle bug before shutdown(after the "fix" to stop people from clipping through to the exit) was that if you autobattled/basic attacked it wouldn't calculate your foray points correctly and would give you a faster time. I think "please fix the castle bug" top masked man was just using third party hacks, since he beat the castle at lvl fucking 30, which would take way more bugs/exploits than what was known.

I had some doubts going in with only lvl 2 spells but you just need a bit of luck after the chimera rages. As long as it doesn't target (You) it should be okay, and MASALOTU helps. They do cleanse debuffs contantly tho. Definitely doable for latelets or returning chaps.

Debuffs and making sure that everyone has at least a lvl 1 madios.
The pair are fairly wimpy in terms of damage, so you have to be unlucky and have them focus on 1 char to lose anyone.
Having any of the limited mages help, TZALIKman and Berka are tanky and Sheli has a 1 time cheat death passive and you can waste her MP on mobs to get her to sleep early in the boss fight.

I don't want to explain how a character can truly die so just check the wiki on that.
the gist of it is it's really hard to perma-kill your character since even if you know nothing there the game will throw you enough hints to let you know what you are doing is a bad idea. the general rule of thumb is if your character was killed and you didn't revive right there in battle, go back to town and wait for his/her fortiude to go back up to maximum (usually 100) before reviving for the best result.

when the game really wants you to permakill a character for whatever reason it will ask multiple times and in glaring red text so you will know when to back out.

When your character got killed and you ran out of flames and have to accept death, you can:
1/ Ress at the temple when their Fortitude is >= 50
2/ Gamble the Ress, if it fails they turn to ash. Ashes are not the end still, but you need to wait for their Fortitue to reach Max (100 usually).
3/ Or gamble again in Ashes state, if this fail the character is gone forever.
Obviously the game will warns you multiple time, so the best thing to do when <50 Fortitude is just to wait. Or you can be that retard from reddit that burnt his Samurai cat.

I could see Thief or Samurai as well for Livana, but it will likely be Knight for her Axe passive. We already have a Water Knight-Fighter though in Eulalia.
IMO Sheli Thief would overlap too much with Milana and it's not a good fit with her sleeping+ZELOS mechanic. Priest is the only one that fits with it unless another MP-caster is introduced (ex. Bishop).

Final mage trial isn't too bad as long as you keep track of the boss HP (and I mean add up your damage to each one in a calculator) and make sure you kill both at the same time. Pixie has around 3K and the chimera has around 5K.

I had Sheli with 323 magic power, Alice with 260 and Masketta with 240. Sheli would alternate between Zelos lvl3 on the chimera and Lazelos to build up damage on both, Alice/Masketta were on madios/batilgref duty.
Once both of them are around 900HP from death drop a trio of La-spells to finish them off.
