If anything, Little Busters shows just how far a company can fall. Key were positioned as a cultural touchstone in VNs and anime, ready to cement their legacy as the greatest VN company of all time with Kanon, Air, Clannad, and Little Busters. They were at their very PEAK with Little Busters, and then like an over-inflated balloon... something burst inside Key. I don't know what it was, but something broke, and the end result was Rewrite. Like a spurt of shit that leaks in your pants, we ended up with a terrible, shameful mistake instead of continuing a legacy of greatness.

That's why I get sad every time I see Little Busters posted, because right when Maeda's style was maturing and he was learning to write fully fleshed out stories, something broke, and every game since has been pure trash. It's inexplicable, tragic, and plain sad, but that's the reality we live in. Maeda put his heart and soul into Little Busters, and he had nothing else left to give after that. Man, I'm tearing up just writing this. Why did it have to end with Little Busters? What went so wrong with the timeline after 2007?

That's good. Regarding that walkthrough, it's the best one, but I don't agree with starting with the optional baseball route. If you want to read that just do it whenever. As for route order, I recommend doing Fuko early on, if not first, to ensure you unlock something later. Also you need to read Misae's route *before* Tomoyo's route or you'll have to redo Tomoyo's route. Also read Nagisa last since it segues directly into After Story.

As for why you need a walkthrough, there are blind and unintuitive choices that are mandatory to make, there are routes that are only completed in another route so they have to be read in a certain order (Misae -> Tomoyo), there are scenes you can miss if you don't make the correct choices (make sure to follow the walkthrough for Kotomi exactly), routes for side characters you would not think have routes, and when you read Nagisa's route, it loads your choices into After Story, and if you made the wrong choices there it locks you out of choices in After Story that are mandatory to get the true ending, meaning you'd have to replay Nagisa's route to fix it and then replay After Story.
