i swear squenix cut leveling at some point. i had another character, and leveling 1-100 never get so much time like now, it's literally taking 10-11-12-13 full completed dungeons on level 60+ to get 1 fucking character level. and this is on healer/tank, with instaqueue, there are no way to level dps job now.

It took me about 12 runs (24 attempts) to get a full clear from fresh.
It's not hard, but tardwrangling 48 people makes it difficult.

My suggestion is to prog until 2nd boss' fire phase, then learn and understand the fire phase on your own, then proglie into bridges or marble dragon (3rd boss).

Goblin Trio (2nd boss) is a retard filter because Demon Tablet is so easy that all of the actual retards get stuck on fire. If you stay in a group progging fire, you'll be on that singular mechanic for a long time, so just prog lie past it once you know how to do the mechanic personally.

If I had to guess it'd be something like Tanks >= DPS > Healers.

Tanks because most people don't want to play them.
DPS because you need a lot more of them than any other role, and so often times they don't all show up leaving more fill slots than most other roles.
Healers are something you don't necessarily need two of, you don't need 2 tanks either, but 2 tanks is more beneficial than 2 healers.

Most groups will fill though no matter your role, but almost every group won't have all 48 people show up on time, and thus need fills.

That guy pissed me off early on in FT. We had a minor argument in voice chat about the snipers. At the time I didn't know it was ABBA's policy to cater to snipers and include them in the run even if they took the spot of someone on the roster so I was like "why the fuck are we rezzing the snipers?" after a near-wipe with a chem raise and he was like "They're playing the game like we are? why wouldn't me?" after I just got out of a different group with a very different policy. He couldn't give a compelling reason other than "I'm the party lead so what I say goes".

At the time, the snipers were always tank/chem with no arcanaut gear so their contribution was negative because their presence increased the boss HP while their damage contribution did not make up for it. No tanking, cuz stance is off, low damage because they are tank, no arc gear, and chemist as their job, and no essential role for clearing bridges or lockwards etc. Just dead weight dragging down the party and in a prog party no less where you want everyone to be contributing.

Anyway I sent him a big message in discord about how wrong he was and he was like "ok just don't join any of my runs" and I did just that. I heard his party was constantly wiping to bridges because they kept taking in total randoms that sniped in or prog lied and didn't have a clue.

It turned out the only reason why everyone was so gung-ho about helping snipers was because they incorrectly believed they would get banned for simply not rezzing them. So it was out of fear and not the "kindness of their hearts" or anything like that, just self-preservation.

Despite the "official ABBA policy" nobody else except that guy actually catered to snipers like that. Everyone else left them dead on the floor when they died. The only exception was this person named "Lamia Kitsune". He sniped Loki's run so much that Loki just started to roster him and he even joined voice chat and everything. That was kind of an exception.

This is gonna sound like some pot meet kettle type shit, but they really do just love to bitch. They'll bitch that things are too easy, not because they're actually upset about an easy W, but because they want clout. I feel like normal mode content should just be handled like pvp at this point. As in, give jobs a separate playstyle in casual content that's more fun and in line with their class fantasy, with balance as an afterthought since balance doesn't matter in casual content anyway. That way the card job can have rng, and all the other jobs can do their own unique fun shit. Meanwhile, in savage, everything can feel like "no items, fox only, final destination" type shit.
