well at least he's starting to be more honest. Silverash is a bit ruthless man and him and Gnosis have a habit of pushing people away that care about them (or using/hurting them, like poor Monch). So yeah he does "drive people away" from him and Kjerag despite always talking about being allies with everyone. People joke about Silverash being your sworn ally but it definitely is a friendship that is based on your usefulness and competency to silverash and not just because he's a nice guy. When silverash says "ally", that actually means he's going to use you at his convenience and if you're a weakling that can't dish it back he wants nothing to do with you.

In Courier's case, Silverash basically replaced him with Degen, despite Courier being his adoptive brother and loyal servant his whole life, all because Degen is a lot more useful to him. Degen can protect silverash and face literal Victorian armies for him, inner turmoil at Kjerag is mostly gone after bti and them cleaning house so he doesn't need to sneak around killing random mooks, him and Matterhorn don't need to guard cliffheart at rhodes island anymore since she's older now, and lastly Rhodes Island is busy with main plot crap so there's no need for him there either. He didn't really have a purpose anymore. I mean he could sit around and do nothing or go work with Bison, so I think leaving Kjerag is ultimately the best thing for Courier. Him and Bison might show up in Kjerag 3. Matterhorn should to, as he is still in Kjerag.

As for Silverash, he could use a redemption arc in Kjerag 3 if he does get that alt. There is progression to be made with his character. They do show signs of him easing up a bit in Degen's event (or in your screenshot, Courier's second record), but he's still kind of a dick to everyone.

One, because if you make a female character too player focused it makes the other female characters seem less player focused in comparison. Can't do that when each one of the smorgasbord of female ops are meant to attract a specific different player. Two, too much wifepandering makes the game's world and story overall worse in quality. Arknights is gameplay and story focused. You'll get some love and fanservice from your wife but you're responsible for the marriage and everything else.
Three, Arknights players are more intelligent than other gachatards and want more meaningful and clever wifepandering. How do I get into IS (specifically IS4)? I really want the silverfrost homescreen UI. hard disagree. I just went through spamming Calamity IS2 and my win rate was pretty high and consistent. IS4 A15 however... fucking emergency bosses are on a whole other level of bullshit. Even besides that the level 3-5 stages are actually threatening unlike IS2, which at worse as some drone stages. Yes you can skip stages in IS4 but not perpetually. You might get lucky to get 1-2 skips per run, but that won't skip you a whole floor. The 4th boss in IS4 also is harder than all the IS2 bosses combined.
This is maybe mostly due to the difficulty cap in IS2, so I'll reassess when we get the IS2 update.

Playing IS in release order is best just because each new iteration adds QoL and evolves from the last.

and after the disappointment of those reveals we would immediately get gameplay trailers to see if they made anything cool instead of doomposting over abjurers for an entire fucking week
