That seems a bit extreme, though Weapon Focus is really a problem the way it is. It seems to me that having groups like that one mod does, is the best solution.

There's less running from one side of the map to the other, more compact level design
Strongly recommend the Restored Content mod for Kotor 2, without the Droid Planet. That's a separate fanmade thing that's often bundled with the RC mod, and frankly it sucks.

While it is kinda fun to solve many of your issues by singing, few of the unique Azata actions are actually interesting in narrative/outcome
Meanwhile, Trickster melee build is the tits and the extra feats make building the rest of your party pretty fun too (normal metamagic can make your spell hotbars feel so limited). And even if you are no a fan of the humor, Trickster has quite a few unique events and solutions that alter the experience quite a bit.

I've finally cracked the code and made Yrliet not complete fucking garbage. Just make her an Executioner and dual wield Drukhari toxic pistols, with the Backpack of Armor-Piercing Ammo she can inflict bleeding with her ranged attacks and Dogmatic 2 on your MC makes her criticals turn enemies on fire. She's not as mobile as Argenta but she deals some pretty ok damage, much much better than her sniper shots anyway.

Prey is a debuff in itself and gives you and the party extra propertes. And the stacking goes crazier when you have two of them.
The idea is that just by being present, the crit of the party is so much better, they have great debuffs (with trail even debuffing enemies out of sight) and in their free turns they can spread it even more. They have value outside of their turn and because of crit stacking, they will do retarded damage if the base is good enough (Pasqal with plasma talents and plasma boosting equipment suddenly becomes really fucking dangerous)
Cull the bold is also a great buff for your attack.

All in all, I didn't like this quest. It basically broke down because I didn't notice the dead guy under the stairs on my first two tries. Without Abelard's scene where he watches the nobles, the final dialogue just skips to the part where you pick a noble family to blame, and it's painfully obvious since you never get the line where you say "I find...".
By the way I never found out why there wasn't a guard next to the altar, when there apparently was supposed to be.

An iconoclast would kill Idira when she gets thousands of middle deckers killed because she wants to talk to Theodora again. An icnoclstic person would commiserate with her being sad about her patron's death, but as soon as 1) you start getting other people under your care killed and 2) you start outright begging warp deamons to come onto the ship, you've crossed several lines.

This is why hypothetical Eldar crpg like RT/DH with Eldar would most likely be about being a Corsair Prince, since then you could make your character be a former Craftworlder, Deldar, Exodite etc similar to how Origins work here and then have companions from each of those factions.
