Red if you can clear basement, if you can't keep going north to spirit spring then do orange line. That is the primary line.
Other colors are depending on which direction you are coming from that isn't the red pathing. You will always have to deal with 1 of the far trolls tossing pots in any path but you never have to deal with more than 1.
You can still run into courtyard straight away and run to the troll in the top left corner. There is no magical route that lets you fight the trolls without any other pots being thrown at you, learn how to dodge when you hear a shout.

Holy FUCK this thing kicks the bug's ass super hard. The residual fire tick heals any damage you take from him with the post-damage healing perk. Not only that but the wind up dealinl damage, the explosion, and the fire cause your ult gauge to fill in about three uses. I'm pretty sure I had permanent uptime on my Revanant immortality.

I think a lot of this behaviour would be mitigated if there was some kind of semi-decent reward even for failing a run. I know it's not exactly the same, but it seems games like Warframe and Destiny do a better job of making failing fun with similar premises.
It just seems a bad run you get like 2 shitty delicate relics and 32.5 murk.
If there was some sort of Relic filter which prioritized Relics for the class you're playing and/or after a certain number of hours or bosses beaten you start to only get Polished/Grand relics, I think people would stick it out even if the run wasn't great.

Honestly I think the forts and rises are good enough. I don't really want shit like Comet Azur or Stars of Ruin (which I swear does no damage despite the hype) taking up weapon drops in the pool. after playing guardian for a while i can safely say he's actually fun to use, more fun than recluse and executor in my opinion. hard to believe how everyone downplays him so much, i think they just don't know how to get the most use out of him. i get such a dopamine rush from landing a charged guard counter with holy burst + TWLID buff

- your melee is actually great and its worth to upgrade at least to blue. remember to 2hand it, both light and heavy attacks are good.
- frederick is good at breaking stance, sebastian is good at holding aggro, hellen is for when the other 2 are dead.
- the fp issues are greatly overstimated. just mix in your melee and you'll be fine. you shouldn't need to bring more than 2 shards to the nightlord.
- her 1° most important relic effect is power up allies when you ult. it'll buff the damage of everyone, you your teammates your summons, and make you immortal.
- its good to check out all seals locations every time. shacks and great churches. you want a seal with an incantation that the nightlord is weak against.
- you'll want a smithing stone 2 to upgrade it so remember to go mines/great merchant.

revenant plays like a spellblade, she uses both melee and spells. it's actually very important to have good melee, don't just choose based on passive.
