No, you will probably pull aggro, at least with blizzard you. An stay further back and if you pull threat, they are already slowed so the tank can grab them.

Even with blizzard, your tank will probably hate you for not targetting the main target. I'd only do it if you have a paladin tank using consecrate and shield spike for a couple seconds first.

vanilla 1-60 at 1x takes between 600-1000 quests
0.5x rates would obviously make that 1200-2000
theres about 1500 quests per faction so add epochs 1600+ on to that but a decent chunk of that will be faction specific/profession quests
and that totals to around 2/3rds of the whole questing content just to get to 60
you cant dungeon farm either cuz its 0.5x all sources and mobs go down to 1xp if theres more than a 9 level min/max difference in your group
the only things youll be missing out on is a title and 3 achievements. im in the same boat as you and i simply dont think its worth the time
