I've had decent winrates against both sword and spellboost with other no-2-drop lists. No-2-drop Abyss is more viable than you'd think. Strong 3-drops really help you stabilise early on and the greed pays off later on.
This particular list aims to reanimate Mimi a gorillion times, so in the lategame you deal 2-4 free burn damage to the enemy face practically every turn. And running no 2-drops is an integral part of that.

That's not really true. I have a better winrate against spellboost rune than against sword with a really greedy control abyss that runs no 2 drops. All the runetumors replaced half their decks with dirt to fight sword and it makes their deck much weaker in the control abyss matchup.
