I play spellboost at AA Diamond and I don't absolutely hate the matchup. Its bad but manageable.

Which means Dirt stomps on it, you run out of cards too fast and dirt gets too much tempo for free. Also Sword is like a 99-1 matchup, I think abyss aggro is just bad positioned.

I've had decent winrates against both sword and spellboost with other no-2-drop lists. No-2-drop Abyss is more viable than you'd think. Strong 3-drops really help you stabilise early on and the greed pays off later on.
This particular list aims to reanimate Mimi a gorillion times, so in the lategame you deal 2-4 free burn damage to the enemy face practically every turn. And running no 2-drops is an integral part of that.

Abyss isn't anywhere near as cancerous as rune. It's a smaller portion of the metagame with a smaller influence on it. It also doesn't instantly win on turn 10, it just slowly grinds you out over 30 minutes, letting you kill them during that time if you get the right answers. It's a very honest deck.
