Norman is balanced around Gildaria and Gildaria is balanced around Norman. No other class being able to deal with these 2 cards on curve makes a lot more sense when you think of it this way. They just didn't even bother remembering other classes exist. Look forward to sword and rune being number 2 and 3 at the absolute worst next expansion by the way, they're forever top 3. They might overbuff a class from lashback, or try to sell something, or miss an interaction that breaks another class (usually aggro or roach), but we're never getting away from spellboost and curveverse being in the top 3 classes.

Norman is balanced around the fact that Dirt cards are a tempo loss for spellboost on paper so spellbost focused decks wouldn't want to run too much dirt so they can keep spellboosting. Which would be true if Anngrea and Kuon weren't entirely busted and spellboosted your hand for infinity with a single card while making board presence. My favourite part about rune is that they don't even have to run spells to spellboost. Every follower just makes a board, clears board, and spellboosts, while also having 30+ heals in the deck (that can double as board clears or card draw or board).
