what a dumb cocksucker reply. it's an awful gameplay mechanic. I've got over 10,000 hours in dota2 and it's not actually terrible to balance the game with the intention to keep that dynamic, which was why valve was smart to:

A) turn more supports into scaling heroes, add gold mechanics to support roles even if it causes gold inflation

B) Restrict item slots in deadlock so more heroes forced to buy items outside of their niche

Role Queue tokens were added because literally no one wanted to play support, so dota forced players to take turns being ward bitch. Having a dichotomy where one hero gets little gold, gets little experience, loses most fights due to having such bad stats/items, and then another hero who wins fights due to more gold, items, abilities, stats, etc, made sure to cause cancerous pubs and people not doing their job properly. Even in 5k+ pubs, you get pudge position 5, ogre magi first item hand of midas, invoker, etc, because even when forced into the support role, players would still rather have gold and xp and be able to take fights rather than feed tangoes and clarity potions to pos 1/pos 3

Despite the bizarre balance choices over the past year, one of the reasons Deadlock will probably due great is the fact that supports get the exact same amount of gold/xp as "carries" do, and can buy damage items and be confident challenging a haze. On that note, it's dumb heroes like haze/infernus do fucking nothing in lane (if you lose to an infernus lane, he's either buying cooldown reduction on flamedash, or you're terrible) and then become gods 30 minutes in. Deadlock should lean away from that.

I dunno about my teammates but I have the opposite issue. Waves roll in so much that I can't even do jungle camps most of the time besides maybe 1-2 camps and a gambling machine before there's suddenly a wave at a nearby objective. Kinda wish League was like this, cause as ADC you're too weak to teamfight before 3 items but you literally can't push past river or you just die but the waves take fucking forever to push back to you and jungle camps are worthless for laners for the most part.
