Extremely simplified example:
20% crit damage on crit
100,000 + (100,000 x 30%) = 130,000
20% aqua damage on crit
120,000 + (120,000 x 10%) = 144,000
Only time I can think of crit being better is if you're stacking a billion buffs for score attack.

People complain about monetization in gacha all the time, it's just a matter of how much other players drown out these voices.
I looked up the youtube channel of one of these people spamming in the chat of one of their livestreams it was a japanese middle schooler.
I don't know about it being a sign of success, but they probably made good profit since they decided to double the magica stones from the exedra passes.
The second thing about the voices is true. MagiReco's main story wasn't voiced at launch and it was gradually voiced. They've made some changes to Exedra's MagiReco to abridge it while also adding some event content, that wasn't voiced in Reco iirc, so I can understand why they didn't voice it. Still unfortunate though and I hope they'll go back and voice the main story.

It got a lot of criticism in this general but I enjoyed it, despite having watched the anime/movies a dozen times. Magireco's story got abridged but the pacing in Exedra has made it very enjoyable to read.
The one adaptation I found superior to the original was Oriko Magica. I read the manga a few years ago and didn't enjoy it while reading it in Exedra has made me like it a lot more. I'm looking forward to the other spin offs getting adapted.
Another thing I haven't really seen mentioned here are the extra stories from Scene 0's battler and nightmare modes. They seem to have been in Magireco as well but they've expanded upon them from what I've seen and have made an effort for Exedra players to have the full Scene0 experience and I appreciate that.
