I love blasting the enemy to smithereens with Bramma salvos that thunder across the lines of battle. And there is nothing like an operator using a hardened wellspring to buff her motes. And the feeling that comes when a Corpus runs screaming from his irradiated MOA, only to be mowed down by heavy kitgun fire, is such an exquisite feeling. Reminiscent of when ranks of infantry brandish their prods rushing into the enemy line. It moves me deep within my heart to watch a Wisp meleeing over and over into the bloated chest of a long-dead enemy.

Gentlemen... All I ask for is Wisp butt, Wisp butt so grand as to make Hell itself tremble. Gentlemen, I ask you as fellow brothers in arms what is it that you really want? Assuming you're not doing this solo, Equinox. All you do is occasionally press 4. Your teammate build up your nuke for you.

Thermal Sunder Titania. For low level missions the fire component of the skill is enough to clear rooms you don't need the full blast combo. This seems high maintenance until you realize you can just reverse tap/hold inputs for her, so all you do is lazily fly through the map tapping whatever key you have thermal sunder subsumed on. Conveniently reversing tap/hold also lets you tap 1 to get stagger immunity so you can be even more braindead flying through maps.

not so much a plot hole but I think it's dumb how you play as random other characters with no justification. I can buy the drifter since they are 2 of the same soul connected by the void or whatever, but they could have at least made it so you give the grineer guy a chip that lets you transfer to his head and guide him through his missions. same for Stalker, have him come to the tenno and ask for help and let the tenno transfer to him for a few missions until he saves his wife.
They went through the trouble of asspulling that you mind control arthur in 1999 but then drop that and just let you play as the other guys for 5 minutes each, which doesn't add anything to the plot, just disconnects you from the tenno some more. it kind of kills the vibe being ripped away from the POV character

What you're saying is a theory, it's never stated anywhere. A plot hole is a plot hole even if you can fill the blanks by theorizing what happened in the blanks.

Sure would be great if that was included in the quest. And I say that as someone who played both Orphix Venom and Scarlet Spear. The actual fighting was really far removed from the quest itself and they should've included something from both those events to fill in the blanks better. Hell, it could've been an easy copy and paste job.

A lot actually. Deimos got some more things added. Corpus Railjack and Corpus Liches happened. The New War happened, then Steve left and put Reb in charge. Some post New War stuff happened and then we got a "Not Elden Ring" Void open world. Finally Reb decided we would go back to 1999 and have boy bands for some reason.

Bounties are what you did in Deimos. And the Earth open world. And the Venus open world. You talk to the bounty giver who gives you a randomly generated mission and you go out and do it, then you earn reputation for that faction. Then you rinse and repeat until you get sick of playing and question your life.

That's Railjack and there's Corpus Railjack now for you. You can also play it solo now and staff your ship with NPC crewmates. Railjack is honestly fun.

Sort of. 1 would pull enemies towards you in a clunky fashion which sort of worked with Hysteria/melee but it's much better having it pull you towards the enemy like it does now.
Her 2 increased your attack speed so you'd always want to have it up even in Hysteria. Her 3 was mostly useless and spent shields to open enemies to finishers (useless). 4 was godmode.

In terms of lore, Revenant is probably the strongest. Dude was holding an entire Eidolon back on his own, and he couldn't actually be killed and just became a ghost. He also baffled Ballas as to how Revenant Prime existed. Ironically it's the same in gameplay and he also can't be killed.

1 and 3 needed range. 2 needed str. 4 needed dur/eff.

1 would fling you to the wall or throw one enemy around (it was funny on the PoE, literally "team rocket blasted off again" moment when some poor sod would get flung over the horizon). Was only good to save your ass from falling off the map.
2 had armour and melee speed buff. And slow on enemies. But it wasn't recastable, so the slow was completely pointless. Armour got powercrept by Umbral mods and such. So, her kit was pretty much down to 1 buff of 1 ability - melee speed.
3 was a meme. A stun. Actually a decent box-breaking ability - had it fall between box detection and pick up range. Augment made it pull enemies toward you but it was rather random and annoying - high strength could fling them over your head (Exodia Hunt is much better as pull goes). Was good for "finisher kills" task. The only ability that Pablo ruined, it's a bad box-breaking ability now, costs more, lacks verticality (and perhaps needs LoS?)
4 had its ups and downs, initially allowed for permanent grey bar, nerfed. Used to have 'UGE single target damage (low range), but melee rework changed it that it got the range but lost red digits - then some other reworks allowed for scaling mods. I heard months prior to rework permanent grey bar was viable again. For me, it was the emergency "don't die" button anyway (that was less instant than switching to the tater)
Reworked 3x armour buff from it and flat energy costs are neat, don't miss the grey bar, Valk was a very survivable frame before and she is much more stronger now.

TL;DR: I enjoy the rework but I miss the old 3. Contemplating some Primed Fulmination gun for box breaking.

You can reach 400% easily without having to do weird shit with your build and still have plenty of free slots. 99 from Blind Rage + 60 from Archon intensify + 24 from augur secrets + 25 from growing power + 60 from molt augmented + 30 from arcane crepuscular and you have 398% strength. Giving Zoomies the benefit of the doubt, at no point does the game itself show you why modding certain things onto your weapons is good.
Using myself from almost 10 years ago as an example, it's fairly intuitive to understand that speed on a melee weapon = more damage and higher number also = more damage, so my melee builds used to be serration, attack speed and then as many + damage mods as I could fit, status didn't even register in my mind as a factor since it was never clear how they'd affect my damage output and crit just seemed like a waste in investment if the weapon didn't already have an absurd crit multiplier.

I know better today, but that's only because I've invested that many years into understanding the game.

Koumei’s skill rolls a challenge (like kill 20 enemies while wall latching) and then you get a permanent buff for the rest of the mission (in Duviri you get a decree choice instead). So if the mission is something like a Survival or Mirror Defense you will stay until rotation C she will build a lot of power.
But if it’s a fast extermination or something like that there isn’t much worth in her aside tangling people in her strings for crowd control and status bombing

When I had to farm the Accolades for the Apex Tank, Excalibur was by a mile the hardest frame to use because the Umbra polarities got in the way when I needed to build for Shield Gating then.
But with Old Peace and Tau, I’d rather hold onto those polarities. Something tells me I will want to have Tau Resistance.
