You need to hit him with multiple slinger ammo to stun him, and also lure him to the two unstable debris towers and drop them on him.
When you grapple him use RB or the equivalent on keyboard to do some big hits. You can do it twice after stunning him if you're quick. You can also get in one or two after he exhausts himself.
If you want him to hit himself on the jagged rocks during the cutscene flailing, you need to land the final hit on him near it.

If you mean the nova that he does where he flies up and burns the arena, if you've broken his head at least once and you're near full HP you can dive away from him three times in a row and survive it, or you can wait for 10 ticks of damage and then use a max/ancient potion to tank the final burst of damage as well. If you're not sure you can survive it just run towards him. Also don't try it if he has blue flames because you just die.

Could be confirmation bias but I find I'm not pushed by the waves as much and can roll out of them with one roll if I mistime it. Slotted it in after one too many times of the wave pushing me into the next attack. Belly flop hitbox is wonky, with a shield there are times where it registers the jump from in front of you as a hit behind you, or you get hit when you are well outside of even the splash around his body when he lands. almost every new feature was pointless too, the open world, double weapons, monster packs. they also spent time redoing rathalos/rathian and other returning monsters AGAIN. this is annoying because they said that it takes them a minimum of 3 months per monster so a lot of time was wasted on monsters that didnt need to be re-done, simply ported over from world and giving them new moves

Try to reinstall. Note before you do this: make sure you have cloud saves on because for some ungodly reason capcom tied your save to your install state, and freshly reinstalling will make your save disappear from the save select screen even though it's still in your folder in steam. There is a way to restore it but if it happens to you do not start a new game or you'll permanently lose that save. Almost happened to another anon here.

MH you're fighting the same shit dozens of times anyways so thats not really an issue
I don't get why an engine change means they have to start from zero on a monster, surely basic shit like the base animations and sound effects can be reused even if they have to redo game data like hitboxes. I'd gladly take a recycled 5th gen fight if it meant we got more monsters overall.

Hello I wrote this today. It started about a Smithy but I guess it can kinda fit any sort of fantasy blacksmith but I'll still share it here. I hope you can enjoy it. The Smithy's Long Day:

Bang! Bang! The steel bends to his will.
Drip! Drop! The sweat pours through his hair.
Tick! Tock! And the order is filled.

"Hunter, come! Your armor is done!"
Said the Smithy, filled with delight.
"Be careful though, it weighs a mean ton.
Now go give those monsters a fright!"

Chop! Chop! From the Rathian's hide.
Crack! Crack! Go the thick monster bones.
Snip! Snap! Well trimmed fur is his pride.
Scrape! Scrape! As he works the grindstones.

It held every mark of his work.
"Now your strokes are sure to be steady,
So go show those beasts your new dirk!"

Now the Smithy felt quite peckish,
He'd be working the shop all day.
And his body craved just one dish,
This Smithy was quite the gourmet.

I think you've got the basic gist of it though. Other lines like the ones about bones and grindstones flow well. I suppose it's just a matter of increasing your vocabulary at this point so you can find something that fits better or maybe even playing with the way words are presented. For example if you take the previously mentioned lines and add hyphens and capitalization it changes how someone might read a line thus letting you get away with new rhyming schemes.

Well I think it's just important to remember your long and short vowels from grade school if you can remember that far back. "Not" would be using the short O sound (sounds like ah) as opposed to long O sound (sounds like oh). So unless you kind of nudge the reader in the intended direction they're going to naturally really the word with the traditional stress. Today I hunted in the lumu. It was ok but people were hunting weak monsters. Only Tempered Seregios was hard. I did hunt AT Duna but I joined like very late and spent most of my time taking pictures.

can someone recommend a good looking build for dualblades in fu? I've been grinding for the last couple of days trying to make a decent looking armor set that has some of the meta skills.
