Well, that's one cancerous duo I'm happy will be segregated after next week. Ditched me in two boss fights to go here off together only to turn around and come back anyways, and either of them pinged but they were always going the same place together which was never where I pinged. Cancer.

if you can't kill something within frederick -> revenant ult -> sebastian you probably shouldn't be fighting it in solo realistically
things should die within 30 seconds
make sure you hit ult when your summon has aggro and not before
that said if you don't, just dodge and hit your incantations anyways? there are plenty of fast ones you can use to clean up, it's just if you take that long you probably have to pop starlights anyways which take time to gather and what not, they're not unlimited granted you probably only need 2 maybe 3 for the nightlord in solo
in trios you need like 5 or 6 sometimes

I'm not sure how much damage helen does compared to frederick ulted, but frederick gives the family buff if you have that, and he knocks numerous enemies out of their attacks and does higher poise which means you're less likely to get interrupted
really whatever the damage difference is between them is probably negligible, but I think that things that push bosses tends to get aggro quicker

it does cut it and you simply make sure you have your ult when you need it in solo (and trio for that matter, buff your allies)
part of being good at the game is making sure you have your resources when you need them, you shouldn't be going to a gaol at level 2 with nothing but the starting seal, even a stave is better
that said you really don't need that ult for every boss, for every red boss really, if you need it for blue it's a skill/damage issue

wallah this happened to use once. I don't even know how. we had a really clean forest route but ended up at 14. I guess we had a slow day 1 or something, idk.

Killed the final night lord today.(except the purple copies)
It was a well fought win. Me and my team of adequate players, barely making it through.

We had a bad start, because after only getting a few levels, a deathrite bird spawned in on top of a gaol. We killed the gaol boss already, so the grace was there. Thus, as the deathrite bird killed us repeatedly, we always stood back up. But on of my teammates did lose a level after we failed to revive him in time. And it was taking forever to kill the bird. We got it down to about 40% health, before I made the executive decision that it was taking too long, and spammed my marker to another location and ran. They took a second, but they followed. And so much of the first day was wasted.

From there, we fought an uphill battle, trying to gather what power we could. There were a number of times when we came close to utter defeat. But we always managed to revive each other time the nick of time.

Somehow, we made it all the way into the nokstella city and kill Astel. Which was great, because I never did that before. So I got that achievement.

The nightlord was the frost dragon. I only fought against him once before and died. The death run was with Raider. But I switched to Wilder, because Raider's slow speed was starting to annoy me.

Good thing I did, because I was able to revive me team with the grapple multiple times. And I was able to keep up with the constantly moving dragon. I even prevented the huge arena wide AoE, by daring to run up to him as he was charging it up, and hitting him with the ult.

Ultimately, it was a team effort. Taking our turns dying, and reviving, until we finally eked out a win. This one felt good, because none of my team were overly strong or overly competent. So it was a good struggle.

All the dragon communion ones seem too costly, discus of light is spammable but kinda shit, Elden Stars are slow and costly, while the damage could be better.
