Overall I'd say that my month has not been ass for pomas, when the previous datamine dropped I wanted all 4 new characters in July and somehow I managed to get them.

Yeah SC Larry is really good. It's also underrated and overlooked that he can buff ally Sync Up Next. That allows him to unlock Arc Ethan's B Move right away after Ethan Syncs, since otherwise Ethan would have to waste a turn buffing his own Sync Up Next in order to use his B Move since it being raised is the unlock condition, and it goes back to zero when Syncing. The other thing is that Arc Ethan can barely pump his own SMUN toward his B Move nuke, but SC Larry can load a ton of SMUN onto him, like 8 levels at 3/5. It's one of my favorite teams to use.

All tower types are very easy UNTIL you reach Floor 30 with what is a sort of EB-UB style line up, there is a Kanto mid boss in between for the normal title but it doesn't seem as roided as the last stage, the other battles are more like Battle Rally first 9 stages or have HSE strength scaling except they do all have Resilience as passive.
I picked Normal but even with Gladion coming soon the last battle, some types might require Super Awakening help and future release units for EX WTZ and nukes.

I like this mode a lot. It lets you use all of your units like Gauntlet without feeling like a long slog thanks to it being timegated permanent content. I like that you can do it at your own pace within the week because the timer ticks without needing your input. They were also smart to let you unlock more towers as you play so that if for instance you can't proceed in a certain tower you can work on other levels of other towers until you get a unit that can let you keep going.

But I am not entirely sure of Earthquake, he also gets Gobsmack 9 which allows you to invest in Growl, which debuffs very well Attack + random stat and also buffs team's sync, EQ is very spammable but Liquidation abuses rain, he certainly isn't a AS Cynthia copypasta EQ effects candidate here. So I guess I'll switch to Growl for general utility.

Will try to get Gladion because he's good and then daily rolls on Iris which has a very meh kit considering Melony's Frosmoth just came few weeks ago, not Ice Zone but still a great Ice support, it's annoying trying to get her just for a reliable points multiplier which is why this mode is so frustrating between RNG runs looking for Blue story and the insane ammount of yellow and red orbs needed for a good grid.
