The lore for it is a little weird. All the girls in the deck, including the 3 link monsters, are the same girl. They have the exact same bangs, eyes, and face.

However, they can coexist at the same time, and exist in the cyberspace.

I understand that the trap cards represent the code she inputs.

And from Maliss in the Mirror, it appears that she enters the virtual world through the mirror, sort of like Digimon, which is depicted in the Field as well.

The rest, I don't entirely understand desu.

Given Alice in Wonderland is a dream, and she's Isekaiing herself into the virtual world in Maliss, I think it's probably like the main deck monsters are all different avatars she made manifesting into Reality to help her with her adventure. Crypter might be like the boss avatar she has to beat to get home, and Red Ransom/White Binder are two aspects of herself she can take form during her adventure? That's my guess, beyond that, the rest eludes me.

That said, the banish to revive yourself to the field is likely interpreting some sort of "jumping into the cyberspace" type aspect, again like Digimon 02 kinda. Idk why you pay LP though. It's likely tied to the digital aspect though.

I have been begging for a level 4 tuner fish that can summon itself during standby after being banished and on summon searches a level 2 "Ghoti" monster, and counts as a non-tuner for the synchro summon of a Fish monster. That's all it needs, nothing special. Psiics is good, great even. But the search usually leads to banishing the search because of its effect, it's a level 6 of all things and requires material to banish in order to summon itself.
I know Ghoti is very close to being a good deck, because Maliss is just a better Ghoti and it's Cyberse for the added salt in the wound.

There's also the crafting system. Any 3 cards of the same meaning you can get the card you actually want is far more generous than most gacha games' pity systems. Like look at the pack points in Pokemon Pocket. You need to spend like a month's worth of free card openings to get 1 pokemon EX, and the points you gain from opening packs can only be used to get a card from that pack so you'd only be able to actually spend them when the new pack is coming out and the meta is likely to shift away from the last pack.

As a new player, I don't really have any good deck except for my current one.
So I feel thankful that the pack isn't that good to force myself to play it.
I don't want to spend resources and Ultra Rare CP on a deck just for a event with such insignificant rewards.

If you're only focusing on a single deck at the start, you should be able to complete it and still have some excess resources. As long as you keep doing your daily missions and getting all the gems for events, resources shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I don't know how to play ANY OF THESE ARCHETYPES or even their basic combos except for Snake Eyes, just a tiny bit and even then I'm probably doing it half wrong. I don't think there's much you really need to understand about the deck other than how it abuses rollback, how to chainblock their GY summons, and how Stand up to Full Height works. I stopped bothering to read cards a long time ago. I just play and if something happens then I quickly check to see which card caused that. There's really no point in doing anything more than that because 90% of what you face is the same 100 or so cards so you quickly memorize what everything does based on that.

New player, I really have no clue what deck to build. When I look up decks online, it's either too expensive for me to craft from nothing or I can't find much explanation on how it works.

If you just start playing, the game will throw gems at you as a new player so you should be able to build basically whatever in one sitting or so. You can start with solo mode if you want.
If you want a decent deck that's extremely cheap and fine for low rank PVP you can get 3 copies of one of the structure decks like Ninjas or Dragonmaids, and some of the bundles that come with guaranteed cards.
Also if there's a deck that you see no pack for, check if it has a secret pack on the wiki or something then you can craft 1 SR from that pack and it'll open the pack up for 24 hours.

It'll be nerfed at some point, but it usually takes 5+ months for a format defining deck like this to actually get pushed out of the top spot by the ban list. And you can build a new deck every month more or less. If you want to play the hot new deck there's little reason not to. Just maybe consider whether or not as a new player you really need to shell out for shit like Castel which is maybe optimal but realistically only boosts your deck by like .2% over a cheaper option.

There are a lot of playable decks in this game and you'll get different suggestions every time you ask unless you're very specific about you want. The only thing you can expect to always be suggested are the hyper budget decks(structure decks) and whatever the top meta deck is(which is about to be Ryzeal).

The Red Dragon Archfiend structure deck is surprisingly good even at 2 copies, you can add a dis pater (ur) when you can craft it to add some extra punch to your end board
