Yes, there are banners for mechs and pilots. A 10x roll on a mech banner gives you 6 random parts and a full mech (matching core, both arms and legs).

Yes, according to the TW version which is 6 months ahead. In addition to free rolls, there are also several ways to get or advance mech parts outside of just rolling, but you can only get pilots with rolls.

It has mechs, you can shoot off arms and legs, and you can core enemies with a pile bunker.

Use your bulk tickets, it just gives you a bunch of blues and rarely a purple to be used as fodder for quality upgrades.

Also if you get dupes on purple mech parts, you should save them instead of combining them right away if it's one you want to max eventually like Arash. Quality upgrades work like this:
>Purple 1: x1 of exact same part that's also Purple 1
>Purple 2: x2 of any Purple 2 part (can be blue parts) of the same weight class
>Gold 1: x1 of exact same part that's also Gold 1

When you unlock delivery missions later, you can start getting generic purple upgrade materials which count as the same part for rank ups, which means you only need 2 of the same part to max it fully instead of 4.

You should pick 5 guys you want to do missions with and unlock their neural drives, since the vials are time gates by the daily limit. When you get drive sector a, the character has to have a chip in one of the slots to get the first ability which you should prioritize on snipers like Dana or fist characters, since it lets them fire or move again when they break any part.

I just got Ana and shipping and the heavy A rank mech Charon. Using the only upgraded MG part I've found she is now the single most powerful person in the squad. Which I'm fine with. I want a defender. With her getting to block tons of dmg and retaliating with retarded damage is just action economy in my favor.

It's an ST stat, it applies to any damage that ST does, just like the stat says right there in the image

If I had to guess, Winston and Lucia look like boss killers with short circuit (7% all part damage on every attack) and burning terrain (multiple ticks of damage per turn on every action / re-act). Mary and Allison keep stacking buffs and debuffs based on link attacks that's probably potent with other raiders who can spam re-act just for attacking while stationary. Fenrir's debuffs look like they'll be useful later. Taio's body shot with polearm looks cool but it's only once per turn and kinda far in tree, I think I'll stick with Cath and savor the dismemberment. Hawkwood's stun might be good for some cheese, 3AP no cooldown. Rebecca just looks like a strong raider. And the campaign cast are honorary S ranks.

They have a very useful niche if you're not chasing scores. Pure melees can't retaliate against ranged fire and the ai will make it their top priority to gang rape Hong with every ranged unit on the field. And if your team has a bunch of twohanders, focusing and mitigating the damage onto tank will prevent part breaks from overwhelming medic and disabling team.
