If you remember the end of Bravely Default, Ringabel leaves the party to return to his own world, then appears sporadically in the sequel to secretly help the protagonists, then finally reveals near the end that he's become some sort of time cop.
There are four light novels called The Pocketbook of R that cover the missing parts of his story.
In the first two books his voyage back home goes awry and he ends in an a different timeline that’s just like the one at the start of BDFF, including Airy who is somehow alive and acts like she doesn’t remember anything, and now she has a ∞ symbol on her wings. At the end of the second book it’s revealed her master Ouroboros is still dead, but in his final moments created Airy again as a final “fuck you”. This Airy has no memories of her past self or knowledge of Ouroboros, but was created with an instinct that pushes her to awaken crystals to continue the cycle of destruction. Airy tries to kill Ringabel and his friends, but Ringabel manages to defeat her and convinces her to stop the cycle before it ever begins.
At the end of the second novel, Ringabel leaves to another world again but Airy sneaks into his ship and becomes his sidekick, claiming that she doesn’t belong to that world, just like him.
The other two books show Ringabel and Airy's side of the story in Bravely Second, while Ringabel keeps switching between the game and another version of that world. Also there is a time anomaly that threatens to erase Ringabel’s memories, and now Airy's wings keep progress of it. I never got to finish those two, sadly.
You may have seen drawings of those novels. If Airy has a ∞ on the wings it’s from the first two novels, if she has RP and H on them, it’s from the other two.

Paimon being hinted to be asmoday means nothing when the two biggest arguments the community brings are "she has a similar color scheme" and "remember Bravely Default?", even the latest hint in favor of it doesn't look that damning when you put the subtitles in gendered languages, which go against the "Traveler is Asmoday's master" theory. She's also been hinted to be Istaroth, the Heavenly Principles, a fragment of the traveler, a seelie, an angel, a messenger from some unknown kingdom, the goddess of protection, and a new moon.
Genshin loves making characters that look evil but then are misunderstood or get redeemed. If Paimon actually turned out to be an evil character, she'd become good again before the end of the same chapter. Best you will get is some "two halves of the same individual" story to have a good one and a bad one.

Storywise it's underwhelming. They added part of the sigil quest to Ars Delusia. You have to look for stamps around the city, and one of them requires you to get enough tickets at the arcade corner.
I repeat. It's not the full quest, just part of it. There's still no signs of the Casino or Stella's core that I know.
Most of what's been added since last year has been side content, so if you're looking to advance the story or the content of any girl that requires going further in the map like Kyra or Sophia, then nothing has changed, really.

Since the game is inspired by Undertale, Resident Evil, and I'm pretty sure SMT as well. You can guess there are multiple endings. They're based on how much you kill. The regular endings have him lose his friends and girlfriend but continue to fight against demons, either in the army or by himself. The more you've killed, the worse off he will be as his powers grow out of control.
If you go murderhobo, Kazuya goes crazy and kills his friends and girlfriend thinking they're trying to kill him He's wrong about his girlfriend. His best friend does try to kill him, but only once he's sure he's completely lost his mind. His best friend's girlfriend was a bitch, though, and dies in every single route. Then depending on choice he's trapped in a ruined timeline all alone or given a second chance to save his girlfriend.
In the best ending, techincally the canon one, Kazuya never kills any demon so he never goes out of control, manages to save his best friend and his girlfriend, and opens his own Devil May Cry like agency, where he works with them and some of the demons he spared during the story. His girlfriend breaks off with him because she was all along his guardian angel and doesn't need to pretend to be a human anymore, but you can marry any of the demons in the game, and save for one of them, they all get an epilogue where Kazuya and the girl are clearly happy together.
Also even the ones he doesn't marry live in a subspace inside his mind and can materialize at will, but luckily most of those girls are fixed by Kazuya and are no longer evil.

New Shitty mod for Paradox! Mod's on the wiki too.
Event_Pawner mod now kind of deprecated, though it works and not directly incompatible with this mod, but Pocket Castle Gate map is incompatible, because i just added events in the same places.
And yeah, with this mod it's possible to make new Grandeur Theater scenes, i guess.
Mod is really powerful - while main description of work pipeline has just "edit in vx ace", but in fact you can directly fucking copy events or part of the events from other maps and fucking with them in whatever way.
With this and Dynamic_Database_Mod game's now very fuckable, much-much shit can be changed and applied dynamically, without need to patch.

Oh, and fucking 1000+ maps? In runtime they are literally that: maps with ids 1000+, so for Part 3 most of the maps has ids from 1001 to 1999 (except 3rd route prologue). And well, Map2/Data folder is almost empty, so I think it's quite safe to add fucking new maps into it, let's say with ids 500+. And then teleport into them with dynamically added event to map 2500+ id, only demerit - every time translation repatched, there's a need to throw mapX.rvdata2 back into Map2/Data folder.
