From MICA's perspective there's basically no upside in backpedaling since they know GF2 only has a certain lifespan a revenue generating project. As you can see from >>533596214, the game is going to unprofitable on global within 6-8 months based on the downward trend. So the current campaign against MICA will fail with one or two more rounds of apolotickets being handed out. It's simply too important for MICA (or more specifically their investors) to get the skin gacha into the game for the last period of its lifespan.

There is virtually no difference between me using Kluk and me using someone else. I think it looks better on paper. They sell ticket packages, so the actual price, including free rolls comes to around $100. I assume they plan to release new gacha skins every 3 months, which means an additional $30-40 per month from skin buyers. Anon, that is secondary. You need an audience first. The crux of the issue is that the "gameplay" for GF2 is too complex. Mica fixed this by adding auto. Now the game is a menu simulator.
There needs to be substance for some demographic. Like FGO has all the autists because the grinding turns them on. GF2? There's nothing. You can make the skin free and no one would join because there's nothing making the audience stay.
