autoblitz is pretty awful to kill mvps with as a new player because you have to kite very consistently be able to keep track of the 'real' position of the mvp, since its sprite will lag due to the blitzes. you're significantly better off just getting an OAB+aspersio and doing a couple double strafes at a time while kiting him. or, MUCH easier you could just ask for help. a priest or mage class/suno to safety wall you, a wizard to press quagmire, another huntard to pingpong atroce with. any of those would have made it much less painful.

The problem with her is she leaves randomly whether idle or in combat, and when low enough she starts to heal pretty well. If you have ranged resist or pneuma she's nort particularly more dangerous than any other MVP but the issue is getting enough people there to kill her when she's low before she TP's away and tops off. On legacy you can trade in for a costume whenever you want, it's "easier" this way because after you get a fat stack of cards you can grind for gear that'll make reaquiring those cards faster the next time around + costume.

Now that I think about it, I should probably roll lots of characters at once so I'm not just grinding cards from mobs that no longer give me exp.

Anon, the cards are at relatively high rate, you can probably get like half if not more of them in less than a month, we know for a fact that at least on seasonal there were people with 300+ out of the 443 cards on the first 2 weeks.

On legacy the cards have lower rates, so it would take a bit longer, but unless you get 1 card a day I still can't see it taking more than 3 months to get all of them, you would have to be either really unlucky or play at a snail's pace, and also probably have 0 friends to play with, because that is also a big factor to how fast you can do the later half of the game.

blacksmith is most overlooked class imo, on previous seasons they'd be overshadowed by multiaccounters using sages for endow but now u can find endow as weapon modifier so their role of weapon crafters diminished even further, party buffs are fine but need cards so they wont be breaking other people's weapons in pt

Any pure melee class is very hard to get into, they need a big amount of commitment and resources (as in, not being afraid to spend a lot on potions and focus almost equally on survival gear as you do on dmg) and most of the time they fall short on big end MvPs due to the nature of the game punishing you just for being close to enemies.

If you want to have an easy, relaxing time, I really suggest you play a ranged class, most of them just bother getting a few weapons and then using the same pieces of armor for everything else since they will barely get hit.

That being said, on CCRo you get plenty of dmg reduction cards and hp increasing cards, so playing as a melee class isn't quite as hard or scary as it would normally be, and Blacksmith is one of those classes that happen to get a few extra neutral and fire resistances passively which goes nicely with the passive card buffs.
